Dave lad torres yer he scores more goals but even tho i hate to say it coz hes a horrible (removed) rooney is a all round better footballer , he has the touch, vision, pass, cross, scores an he makes up for the goals he doesnt score in assists.

If your a striker you get judged on goals. Midfielders do the assits, otherwise you end up like Emile Heskey and Dirk Kuyt, put on the wing, this is what is happening to Rooney.

LOL the question is who is better, not who is English... I agree with you in a way though, the prem needs to look to english talent, before going and invading La Liga, the talent is there, but it's not being nurtured properly. *cough Arsene Wenger cough*

I will always support rooney over torres, his coming into form and his english, no offence to torres his amazing but what if the premiership wasn't allowed foreigners? Rooney would clearly beat all other english strikers right now

The whole of that statement is wrong on so many levels, torres has ALWAYS
scored more goals than Rooney in every season thus far, Rooney isn't getting his form back, hes playing to the best of his abilities now!
