Most of the people posting on here are liverpool fans and torres is getting most of the votes but i am an arsenal fan ( dont laugh ) and i agree that torres is better as a striker but when i say striker i mean an out - and - out forward who is always on the last man ready to score. But wayne rooney is not a striker he is a centre forward who scores a bit but also has to help the midfeild and get assists so basicly torres is better as an out - and - out striker but rooney is a better centre forward than torres is!

to be honest, this is a pretty biast thread, the Liverpool fans are bound to say Torres, and the Man Utd fans are bound to say Rooney... and obviously being a UTD fan i would have to say Rooney, but the fact is it may sound stupid but i wouldn't swap Rooney for any striker there is no-one out there that can track back like he does and still be at the other end off the field when it counts, apart from Tevez so i think Torres is probably one the best strikers in the world right now but i would still have Rooney over him.

I would have Torres in my team without a doubt though but i wouldn't drop Rooney for him so, if it would be possible i would have both
