Hes fairly new to the forums ryan, give him a break, all he needed was just telling him what to do in the future, and im sure that he will learn that for the future.

Anyway i think it would be useful, as it could tell you before the game what you would win from it, which IMO would be great to see. Would take a lot of work i presume lol.

Then two days later he said something constructive. I was'nt saying about the constructive post, but his first post. And i did'nt mean to come across like that. If i wanted to be relly sad and show you a thread where Dave (iamtheworst) says the same sort of thing as i have, i would. But then again i aint like that.

Firstly, glad you liked it lovej007

Secondly, integrating it into the game isn't really feasible as it is a C++ Windows application (.exe) and not a web based app. Of course Nick could reimplement it (as he has the original ranking calculation code), but to be honest it isn't really worth it for him to do so (other things are far more a priority and better use of his time and resources).

And finally, in what way was it 'to no avail' Ry? - Was it that you could not download it, wouldn't run or produced error messages (and if so what)?.

If it was that you couldn't download it, it could have been a temporary glitch on my site (forgot to pay the bill lol).

If you got an error when trying to load a user profile from the site (by ticking the box), it could be that your firewall has blocked the connection and you will need to let it know to allow access to the internet from the program.

As for your question about Mozilla, the answer is no - it is a browser independent Windows Application (.exe) - profile loads are done by direct access to the HTML profile pages and clicking on the profile picture buttons or the main site logo should open up the pages using you default browser.

Just a thought, if you have an old version of the program it may not work (versions pre 1.9 won't load profile data correctly for instance due to changes to the site HTML since these versions were created). To be on the safe side the newest version (3.1) should be downloaded as this has all Nick's changes to date incorporated.

I've just tried it and it worked ok (and I assume lovej007 did the other day) so it is obviously working and I can't see anything untoward in the log files or the page statistics either, so I'm at a bit of a loss as to why it won't work for you.
