I have just ordered it myself i know its not much different but it all goes towards a game i enjoy and love alot!

That looks the same to me - all thats diiferent is there is no advert, the space where the advert was doesn't seem to be taken up by anything, just a black background.

If I did buy it, it would be solely to contribute, not for any personal gain or acknowledgement

Oh yeah, got a little query about the adverts at the moment anyway: I don't seem to have any instead I have the instructions on how to take a shot on funkysnooker - surely that isn't an advert, therefore surely not helping the upkeep of the site. This has been the same for about a week now.

Edit: and as I say that it has switched to a deal or no deal ad...

The layout depends on a screen resolution. I'll knock up a demo so people can see how it would appear on their own machine.

yes kop i agree, iv had lots of forum threads and how to take a shot "ads" up lately, they surely dont generate any revenue, and are also poorly targetted as i am well aware how to take a shot

Nick just an idea, why not just have everybody's tag as "member" and make a space in your "edit profile" section where you can look at your premium details just like you can with your support threads? Feedback people.

Good idea. If you really must give some mention of the fact that player(a) can/will afford to spend a tenner and player(b) can't/doesn't, then put it in their profile where anyone bothered enough to go look can read about it. I don't see any point in slapping the fact in our faces. Yes it will create a feeling of being a 'second class citizen' no matter how you argue against it.

Just for the avoidance of doubt: I have no argument at all with Nick charging people money to play his rather good snooker game. I just don't like the "I've paid and you haven't, nee-nah nee-nah" aspect of badging it in the way suggested.
