Some people that I have talked to are willing to spend a tenner just for the tag of "premium user" am not quite sure why that is but several people I have spoken to have said that. Me being as Ryan said a northerner find that a hard concept to understand - people want to spend a tenner to brag effectively.

Can't see the reasoning, but what i'm basically saying is that if the tag was removed, then some people would elct not to bother, and whilst I dont think i'll be purchasing, I think it is good for the site that people are donating.

I got to disagee with that, right I no I can afford £10 for 6 months subscription works out at £1.67 a month, a 'Premium member' tag is not gonig to stop me from being mates with mike or damee becuase they don't have 1 thats silly, I think people should have a say in this, if you donate on any other website you are always acknowledged for it maybe 'Premium' is such a strong word but I don't think people are going to get upset becuase they have not got the tag, I n somebody will say 'Your only saying this becuase you have a tag' but trust me if damee came online tomorrow with 'Super Premiuim Moderator' becuase he donated £100 good luck to him becuase hes done his bit for funkysnooker and it is his money and he should be rewarded for his generosity

Si i agree with you on the whole front, but there's two side's to every story. I was'nt saying it should'nt be allowed i was just throwing idea's out there to keep people happy. No matter what i come up with there's always going to be someone who disagrees.

You no lyle is 13 and he told me today he would save his pocket money to buy a 'Premium Account' So I beleive if a 13 year old is willing to do something like that then being on a serious note most of the top users will be able to afford £10 I have had around 20/30 asking me what it is like so they no wether to buy it for themselfs so I think realistically let just leave it for a while, and if anybody starts to see anyhting along the lines of a 2 tier website where 1 half think they are 'greater' then lets just remove it and called it 'Subscribed member' then it will be fine just let it have a try to see how it shapes out!

Yeah that's what i wanted to say really. How can the people brag about paying money for an ad free site when the other half turn around and say i dont get lag any way!? That was the point i was trying to make!

So the people on this thread that has said dont get lag, they where sayin this so called "two tier system" was starting to arise. how!? LIKE I'VE SAID, if you dont get lag, dont bother with the "premium" account unless your willing to donate to Nick and his site. enough said. I'm going to keep quiet. lol

Yeah I agree with you there in a certain way youngjeezy. I didnt really have lag! i only upgraded to premium because I love this game and Funky snooker needs a future! you can not live a future without funds!

I don't know what the moaning is for :S.. it's simple the guys who want to donate and get better features pay for it so i think they should stand out, in witch case "Premium Member" should stay there and i actually think it looks good.

If it really bothers you that much, then find a way to pay the £10 and become a Premium Member.

Back to topic, i think it's fine as it is.

Why should they stand out? It seems that people only want to donate for the recognition - again something I do not understand. If I gave to charity, I wouldn't walk around with a badge saying that I do, this is just the same, but people seem to struggle with that concept and want the recognition. I just find it strange and really a bit vain if i'm honest.

Having said that I have no problem with the tag, or with peole being recognised for donating, I just have this synical view that people want to donate almost as a statement, not for the good of the site or even to remove lag - that is what I struggle to understand.
