On topic, I can see where both sides of the argument are coming from, but at the end of the day, if there's something there which you can make to your advantage and isn't against the rules, then why not take it?

At the end of the day Mike (virtuoso107) you can deny it all you want. You break, not on for a colour and you just tap a red, and that's in any game type. That's a deliberate foul son! The thing that annoy's me most is not the deliberate foul... but the fact you lie about it.

Yepp I've witnessed it, every top player does it, nothing to be ashamed of it's just using you brain! Ask Dgeneratio my 147 on regular came with a deliberate foul, black was tied next to red so i hit the red and potted the black so it could go on the spot but i made sure that i left nothing on, again tactical ! Really dunno what the fuss is about, nothing at all wrong with it.

If you think that rolling the ball out if you snooker yourself is "cheating" then your silly... if i was playin a top player i'd do it, cos I know for a fact that if i smashed 'em an leave something on, then its frame over... so rather than deliberate foul, call it a "tactical strategic foul" lol

Now see, even the "prince of awkward angles" has admitted to doing it. It's just part of the game, just as much as potting a ball is. In my opinion.

The only real change possible would be to have a replay shot option available by default (in addition to putting opponent back in play option).
