As for Jags, he is overpriced at £20M but then again so was Phil Jones at Utd, and he has far more experience than him, and at this stage a far better defender.

If Arsenal want him, then I reckon 15/16 Mill will get him.

They refused it at first but from what I am hearing they are happy with the amount!

There are just some minor things like Dann turned around and said he will only come if he gets paid more than Shawcross who is only on 27k a week so thats doable just wont leave a good atmosphere between the 2 players I think.

Also Peter Crouch has being linked with us, but our £40k a week wage cap which only 1 player is on (Kenwyn Jones) makes this unreal as he won't take that much of a paycut

Our transfer policy is to buy young players, between the ages of 18-26.

We are trying to build a squad that will play for the next 5-10 years, rather than buy the current big named players.

We are trading off name alone tbh, we cannot offer them the highest wages in the league, or European football, so all we can do at this stage is use our LFC name, and offer clubs inflated transfer fees to get the players.

Most of the players we have signed have come from lower premier league clubs to ourselves, so it is still a step up for them.

I think the master plan is top 4 this season, then we can start atracting the 'fair weather players' who only sign for Champions League clubs/ or for Huuuuuuuge wages.
