I think D. Villa is going to join Liverpool if they offer enough money, get rid of a big player for him hes the dream player to have in your team for next season
When EVERY big club in Europe go after 1 player theres got to be something special just Liverpool need to give somebody up to put in a big realistic bid becuase Nobody will pay more than Madrid as we have noticed lol
Will be nice to see him come down the Brit with the Kop nextr season!

Well Villa said he only wants to join Liverpool if he moves to England (nice consdiering the money he would get at United/Chelsea) but we just don't have the money. We are going to be the big losers this season in the transfer market.

we are in serious financial difficulties. We have never had any money since our owners have took over.
The club is in around £350m debt. Our club is run on debt.
Gillette has sold his hockey team for 300m which should help a bit.
United are in more debt, but they can pay the interest on it as they have a mass world appeal, win things, and a 75,000 plus seaster stadium.
Thats why Plattini is always moaning about english football

Have you not heard the debt were in? cause of our illustrious owners? he's just sold his team in america for £335 million ($550 million) and that's still not enough to pay it off.

Ooh yeah, and they boorrowed that money from RBS which has now become gouvernment owned and MPs are trying to stop the owners borrowing any more.
The debt is theirs however not the clubs, it belongs to Kop holdings PLC.
Doesn't help us when we want to buy players though.... :\
Still they said only chelsea would spend more than us.... but i don't think they bargained on United getting all that money, and I don't think they know who man city are...

Liverpool have completed the signing of 15-year-old Jesus Joaquin Fernandez from Cadiz, according to one Spanish newspaper.
The Reds are said to have beaten off competition from Barcelona, Real Madrid, Sevilla and Villarreal for the midfielder's services.
After a significant amount of time negotiating the deal the player's family have finally accepted Liverpool's offer.
Cadiz, currently in Spain's second division, are also said to be happy with the transfer after they were handsomely rewarded in terms of compensation.
The youngster is thought to have signed a five-year contract on Merseyside, according to the newspaper Diario de Cadiz.
The teenage sensation is a left-footed player and is thought to possess an innate footballing brain.
Hail, the new Igor Biscan!

Liverpool Announce New Manging Director
Liverpool have named Christian Purslow as their new managing director.
Purslow, a fluent Spanish speaker and Liverpool season ticket holder, will liaise with manager Rafael Benitez on his summer signings.
The 45-year-old will take overall charge until a replacement is found for outgoing chief executive Rick Parry.
Co-owner George Gillett told the club's official website. "There's a lot to get done and Christian will be a valuable addition to the team."
Purslow is a Cambridge graduate with an MBA from Harvard Business School and Gillett said his experience was needed.
"Tom Hicks and I felt that it was important to put a highly experienced and respected executive in place to run the club and support the senior team and the manager," he said.
Co-owner Hicks added: "Christian has been a great supporter of the club for many years and he's already built up good relationships at Anfield.
"His strategic and commercial acumen will be a real asset and we're delighted that he has made a long term commitment to the club."
Purslow is an executive board member and co-founder of private equity firm MidOcean Partners.
