He should of been found guilty , you could clearly see him uppercutting the guy. He said it was self defence and the guy didnt even swing a punch. What a joke.

Anyway was watching the Spurs and Barca yesterday. Is the left winger for Spurs that Lucas guy who used to play for Liverpool?

What makes me laugh, you liverpool fans think he was actually inocent and deserved nuthing... Look when fuller hit griffin on the pitch I totally agreed he deserved a 3 match ban, but you beat up somebody of the pitch and nuthing happens its extremly harsh

I think if it was Fuller or Geovarni somebody of that level fighting they would of being found guilty with some sort of punishment

Tim Krul, Habib Beye, Jose Enrique, Steven Taylor, Fabricio Coloccini, Joey Barton, Damien Duff, Kevin Nolan, Jonas Gutierrez, Alan Smith , Oba Martins

That's just a Steve Harper away from a full-strength side.

Ah well at least us cov fans only have two relegation places to worry about

Thats because, contrary to what a load of mancs, bitters and liverpool haters think, if your found innocent in a court of law, you have no case to answer.

Do you know the guy who was the prosecution for Gerrards trial usually deals in cases of murder/attempted murder/manslaughter.

Here he was however on an affray trial.

Fact of the matter is, it took the jury 70 minutes to laugh the thing out of court. I think the media have been justified also.

Oh yeah btw, 3 hours after coming out of court with his name clear, he was playing for a "Liverpool X1" and scored a screamerrrrrrr.

As for the 6-1.... Lmaooo :| was it that Chris Huton who was manager for the day? That guy is useless!!!

Liverpool will reluctantly sell midfielder Xabi Alonso to Real Madrid in the next few days. Although manager Rafael Benitez wanted £35m for the 27-year-old, the fee is likely to be less than £30m.

Money Grabber

Everton defender Joleon Lescott is ready to tell manager David Moyes that he wants to join big-spending Manchester City.

Another money grabber.

Yep Both Money Grabbers.

Alonso should be happy at Liverpool, Champions League Football and competing for trophies on many different fronts.

Everton gave Lescott a chance in the premier league after he was riddled with injurys and off the field problems, for this he should hold some loyalties with us.

They both have enough money to live like royalty 10 times over and then give their kids a nice tidy sum as it is.

When is enough enough?

I hate our owners for putting debt on the club, the money they have put out for transfers hasn't actually been that bad. What City are doing currenty is no good for anyone, including Mark Hughes next season, when he is Stoke manager, complaining that Titus Bramble is gonna cost him £15mill.

No Lucas Leiva is a defnsive midfielder who is still playing for us - sadly.

Are you talking about Luca Modric? :S

Thats true, 5 years ago Everton would have sold for 15mil but im glad we have rejected 2 bids, once it gets over 20mil i think it needs to be seriously considered

Well I thought 20 mill for Torres was steep 3 years ago, it smashed our transfer record and still is our biggest fee we've paid. We could sell him for quadrouple that. Especially in another 2 years time when he market will continue to rise.

It will one day get to a peak, then decline, but doubt anytime soon, I mean we are in a global recession but its not bothering the real rich clubs at all so what will I dunno...!
