I saw this every time i see a pen...how many keepers DONT dive? ive never seen a keeper not dive in real life..only on fifa online.. lol....SO....when u take pen...little chip down the middle? not many keepers how peter crouch legs so it will always go in!?!?! so simple its silly.

dont most keepers study dvds of penos taken by opposition players before a game just in case they concede one ?

Yeah they do study the pen takers, but pen takers study the goalkeeper to, like cech...kick it to his left and if its in the corner with abit of pace he wont save.

As a pen taker and ex keeper myself at sunday league/pub league and indoor football level its alot different. Some of the keeps dont dive..just bcoz...well they are poor and some choose a corner left or right and just go with it.

With a penalty, the taker has an idea where he is hitting it before they hit it. Like Lampard, Keepers right low and hard usually but does use creativity and do different things. I've seen lampard chip the middle, blast the middle, inside the boot and the laces! and hes effective, like him or hate him, his pens are good.

But at high level games...for example...it its terry V van der sar like in moscow...if terry chips down the middle...im 100% certain VDS will dive...can he really stay in a standing position for the biggest club cup final pen? not a sausage!

As I said if you blast it down the middle at a nice heinght the keeper wont be able to move his feet out the way even if he wanted to.

there is no perfect way to take a peno that will work perfect every time but lampard is particularly effective

funny how he scored 40 without missing though, how many other players can say they have taken 40. i guess drogba diving to the floor at the sight of an opposition shadow helps

Great game at stoke Tuncay played unberlievable what a player he can prove to be, you can see why he is the Captain of Turkey

Figueroa's goal was one of a kind and to be at the game evening though it was against my team and the run of play it was great to watch

And we stood in the Boothen End and claped it, definatly one for sore eyes!

We played the better game had alot more attacks more of the ball and just generally should of walked away with the 3 points, but it feels better to walk away with 1 point from going behind twice instead of having 1 point after being infront.

Rory Delap not good enough for the premiership but a great Championship player Pulis really needs to think about him before picking out a team doesn't help with Liam Lawrance getting Swine Flu.

Yeah, I watched the game live, and when he scored the goal behind the goal about 9 or 10 fans stood up and clapped fair play to them. Also couldn't agree more about Tuncay! I loved him at boro too,, class act.

I agree I do blaime him for the goal definatly also the ball where it is no keeper stands their line so can't expect much more from Sorrenson

Arshavin's goal was better, sadly
