FUNKYSNOOKER WORLD CUP 2010 / LAST 16

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to World Cup Last 16 / Knock-Out Stage. 32 national selections started the journey back in December, they fought well, but only half of them could still win this glorious title.

Group winners will choose game type in this stage irrespective of FIFA Rankings. Games will consist of 2 frames, first half and second half, if tied 1-1, then we go to a 1 frame decider / extra-time (no penalties I'm afraid ). So technically it's Best of 3..

After a shaky start Slovakia soon got into a rhythm and start hitting shots left right and center even the center backs getting in on the action. With a first half that could've went either way Slovakia took charge at the right time and went 1 nil ahead.
The second half was not as closely contested with Slovakia breaking in the 66th minute (every1 like what i done there)
with superb movement taking on anything.
In the end Japan showed heart and great sportsmanship and played their part in a fine World Cup Match.
Final score Slovakia 2 v 0 Japan

France Vs Greece stands out as a great tie......
