I think that its a good general idea, but the team thats loaning the player will only loan a lower ranked player and the player would have to agree aswell?

well technically they are still in your clan but they play for another for a while (say 1 or 2 fixtures) and it would count to golden cue unless it went to default (next season), plus they get to play instead of being sidelined.

but i agree with the part that the loaned player cant play against his own clan (clan he was at before the loan).

no i don't agree, players are loaned out of good will, not to favour your clan for bonus points.

Completely disagree. This is to help keep a falling clan alive and able to complete league fixtures. Not a way of getting some cheap points.

Ultimately for a loan to happen both captains and the player would have to agree.

i think it should take a week to pass
as someone could loan out best players to stop the other team winining the league, if there a restriction to when they can officaly play may stop this

this has seemed to have positive feedback so far, if we are all agreed i will add it to season 6 changes.

we arent sure if cup is happening next season or not (no ones fault), just the fewer clans we have less likely they will be a cup, hopefully poolers will join (and pass friendly pre season league match) to make up the numbers.

let's see what happens. next season only starts in feb or something, so loads of time. the cup went pretty well this year i think

if all 8 clans make it through past pre season friendlies for next season i might do 2 divisions. top 4 in league table from this season in division 1 and bottom 2 along with Funky Soldiers and Poolers in division 2.

Each clan would play each other twice so its same length as league with 1 division.

Cup would feature all clans from both groups with the new rules in place.

this is only if all 8 clans make it through (6 is possible at a push but not sure yet).

7 or less and i might stick to the 1 division.

First of all, this is only possible with all 8 clans.
A problem is that we still have not had a season without a clan folding. Even established clans like Allstarz and UT (end of last season) are sometimes close.
If we do have 8 clans, we might as well give it a try though. If a clan folds in the first half of the season (which is more likely since it's early), we can still combine the divisions mid season by cancelling return legs and just playing the other clans instead.
If a clan folds later, one division will just finish with 3 clans and we can combine again next season.
My vote is yes as long as all 8 clans go through the friendlies

Still think a group of 4 is too little.

Thinking of making the Cup 'Super Sevens' meaning games would now be 7v7 as opposed to the current 5v5.

If we manage to get 8 clans there could be a 'plate' competition for '1st round losers'

However this would add an extra week to the League as the Semi finals for the Cup(s) would be seperate.

yeah 7v7 is good especially since the number of games are cut down

divisions of 4 is very little, that's true. although, double round robin will mean we have 6 fixtures, 1 more than this year.

was talking to sarah and 2 divisions will give the lower clans a chance to win something rather than the same 2 clans winning all the time.

its low thats true but it gives chance for promotion and regulation.
