I think an addition to the rules should be that if a player wins a default x-0 then that match should count as completed for the purposes of bonus points for the clan that wins it.

Ex 1: player makes no effort to play at all/ isn't on all fixture then other player wins 6-0. Seems unfair to penalise a clan for the other clan making no effort.

Ex 2: player is losing say 4-0 or 4-1 and decides they can't be bothered to finish the game as they know they are going to lose. Again seems unfair to penalise the winning clan for the other clan not wanting to play.

But as I said, only the clan that wins said defaults should still be eligible for the bonus points.

Some clans join, some people play, FSE win. Simple as you like.

i still think 50% of bonus points in those cases which is 5 as its still a default if we like it or not.

My point is that it should never be impossible to get full bonus points. On your system, a player doesn't log on for the whole fixture window and their opponent is instantly fined a minimum of 5 points as the 10 is then impossible.

Similarly a player who is 5-0 down who knows they are going to lose 6-0 may as well leave and not play in an attempt to stop the other (presumably better) clan getting full bonus points.

My point was ONLY for situations where one player is awarded all the available points on default.

That doesn't make sense to me. He would be harming his own clan, wouldn't he?

I don't like the idea. The fixture completion bonus is an incentive for both clans to complete a fixture. If they can't- for whatever reason- then it shouldn't be given.
Everyone plays everyone else once in the league- so the situation is the same for all clans.

If this is unfair, I would prefer to completely get rid of the bonus points, rather than give them out if the fixture was not completed.

I'm thinking we should have a side league, the captains league.

Basically, the captain and vice from each team enter a mini league, and play each other once (1 frame of each type maybe?).

Simple enough, don't see it being that hard to run, and I'm willing to help run the captains league if you like?

^^^^ i like that idea.. i play something similar in real life on my pool and snooker team.

we also do a captains choice cup aswell.. each captain will pick 1 player (there best if they wanted to play if not any player will do) and have a knockout tourny then at the end we will be left with the best player of all clans.

thats what individuals and golden cue is for though.

Nice idea, although if you run this next to the league, the cup, and the individuals tourney- don't you think it's too much?

1 extra game with generally the most reliable players (captains and vice really should be reliable!!) in a 2 week period isn't asking for much to be honest. Most of us get our games done within a week.

doesnt everyone play everyone else? Let's assume 6 clans- that's 12 people, so 11 games. Will be about 2 per fixture.
