You never watch it do you Panda! Jeesh!

Seriously cannot believe Villa missed the pen for his hat-trick! But I'm glad bcoz I have Chile in the sweepstake and goal difference might be the key in that group now! And also I have backed Fabiano for the Golden Boot! So we dont want Villa scoring too many

I wonder if he will get a disicplinary for slapping that chap in the face? I think he deserves one to be honest but I hope he doesnt just so I can watch him play in the next rounds (If they progress).

Seriously hope Chile dont go out now, would be so harsh. Swiss should never of even got one point off Spain but because they beat them Chile might suffer serverly.

I thought in the group games the 'head-to-head' result counted as opposed to goal difference. But the commontators said the head-to-head didnt count!?

Personally I think thats wrong. If one team beats another team thats on the same points, then they have clearly proved they are more deserving by already beating them!!

Chile for the wolrd cup!

Lets face it, who are England...

I think JT proved why he is not Captain material yesterday with his stupid press conference. Poor Lampard having to pick up the peaces today.

"Pick up the pieces today."

To be perfectly honest, what Terry done wasn't anything major. He spoke the truth. I know football is 95% fake nowadays to the extent of diving, play acting, ref scandals (basically Chelsea in Europe), bungs, tapping up of players etc etc. Even to the point of wags, they are more plastic than the credit cards they're given.

So as an England fan, I think Terry has done the right thing. There is clearly an issue within the camp or somewhere and Terry hasn't tried to cover it up or hasn't made excuses or just not commented on the question...he just gave the truth. Now if the truth is such a bad thing then Terry has done a good job bcoz now it can be addressed. The problem is Capello and if it isnt Capello then its the attackers. John has done his job at the back without Rio without Leadly without Carra. So Terry hasnt done anything wrong.

And to say he proved he isnt captain material is nonsense. How Gerrard is captain I do not no. I find it funny that Crouch..SWP..A.cole..m.carrick and defoe have all made the mistake in mentioning John Terry as England captain.

Like they have been asked a question and they have said things like "Well yeah obviously, Capello is a world class manager and terry is a world class captain and rooney is a world class goal machine" so for 5 England players to make the mistake of refering to JT as skipper makes me chuckle abit.

When Terry spoke out I was relieved. I really believed that England were going to address their issues and get to grips with them.

I believed Terrys' concern and his willingness to resolve the issues and to achieve success. I like the way he was honest with it and didn't go overboard and be unprofessional. He said there were issues which there are!

Its not so long ago my old mate John Terry was scrutinized for lying in his personal life and for cheating. But when he speaks the truth for the benefit of his country he is simply hung out to dry by the media. The medias overplay of this situation is disgusting and they are 50% the reason for every broken heart in England at world cup events.

They build us up and hope that the lads fail. They thrieve off it and it shows in the content they fill their papers' with each day. And for all the so called 'fans' that side with the papers, you are pathetic.

Do you really need a paper or magazine to tell you what to believe or think. Terry was trying to help his team and the fans. He was simply reassuring the fans that he has a willingness to improve things and calm the boat. Which is more than we can say for Capello.

Which let me add doesn't have a clue as to who he is going to play hours before kick-off. He unsettles everyone and thinks he is a puppet master. He should leave the mind games and tricks to Jose.

Capello is at fault completely. He is suppose to be a figure within the camp that calms things down and reassures his team.

The first mistake he made was choosing his 23 players. I like Heskeys effort and ambition but he isn't good enough and lets not forget if Capello hadn't of selected Heskey, then we wouldn't have to play the likes of Carragher as the England captain (Rio Ferdinand) wouldn't be injured! First mistake of many.
The second mistake he has made is the formation as we clearly now no, doesn't work. To actually start Heskey when England are lacking goals is comical. Darren Bent (who wasn't taken) can provide goals as he has shown all season in a medioca premiership side.
The next mistake was selecting his side 2 hours before kick-off. This has to unsettle everyone and clearly has unsettled the goalkeepers. Rob Greens mistake was horrible but it happens loads in football, even the best make mistakes and well, Rob Green isn't even the best. Joe Hart who has conceaded less with a team that was favourites to go down. Medium defence and is arguably worse than Greens' West Ham and James' Portsmouth. Joe Hart also being voted as the best goalkeper in the premiership recieving the number one spot in the PFA team of the year, ahead of Green and James. Yet with all this he is not second in line, but third.

The argument that he has no international experiance is nonsense as how can he possible get any experiance when he isnt selected. This is where the "fear" issue has come into thought processes of football pundits in the sense that Capello/England are too scared to take risks. Also a mistake is that after Greens' howler he then replaced him.
I'd also like to mention that the situation facing John Terry being captain previous to the tournament starting must also be very unsetterling to the squad as a whole. He said he made the decision to strip him of role as skipper to create stability in the team, when in my eyes all he has done throughout his time as England manager is cause unrest and anxiety to the team.

This was my rant on skysports news and paddypower! Classic specific parts of my e-mail were read out on skysports news!!

They said Darry from Brighton! :L:L! Love it!
