I appreciate you dont like him and i'd agree he might not be over passionate for England, but then neither am I. If I had a choice between Chelsea winning the Champions League or England to win the world cup, I would make a selfish choice. I love Chelsea loads more than England and have always been that way.

Capello doesnt really seem the type to leave his door open but if Terry strolls in imo that would then be unprofessional and like I said, the problems arent with Terry. The problem is Terrys' partner and the attackers. John even said today he was only trying to indicate a willingness to improve and try his best for England.

Obviously I love JT and wouldnt want anyone else to be captain for Chelsea but Terrys throws life and limb at every ball and isnt afraid to get his head kicked in clearing the ball!

Terry is a national hero and deserves credit from everyone. You dont have to like the man or respect him, but you have to give him credit, hes a tryer/fighter

Then the next day he says and again paraphrasing 'It was never my intention to upset Fabio or the players'

Add to that the fact that once he got to that meeting he sat there and took it like a ... gooden... just adds to the levels of hypocrisy really. Lampard put him in the turd when he said that nobody said anything in that meeting.

Terry used the press confrence just to make himself look a 'big charecter' and sadly for him it backfired for the world to see. He instead hammered home his own selfishness, and pointed out the flaws in his psyche.

This isn't out of dislike for Terry although you might have guessed I don't like him, in fact I find him (and I would stick Gerrard in this as well) one of the most annoying sports persons in an already annoying sport. He thinks he is more important than any individual, he is far from it, he is good at his job at centre back, but when he opens his mouth, it doesn't take a genious to work out his motives. There is an agenda with Terry, and it isn't to win the world cup, but to distance himself away from the failings, but appearing to be the exception to the criticism.

Either way, he is a very immature charecter. Of that there is no denying.
