Not one of spains games were exciting, enthrawling or thrilling.
But thats not Spains fault, they cant be to blame for playing the best football in the world.

Just a shame to see other teams lining up like that, takes enjoyment out of football

I think if you look at it the teams in the cup, Spain just do have the best team. Their pass percentage is incredible, and with players like iniesta and xavi, who were the players of the tournament for me, they were just unstoppable. Like mike said, holland very nearly played it right, but not quite.

Spain were the favourite's from the start, and with good reason

Also Iniesta should have been sent off after scoring in the final cos he dived and the Dutch player got booked but he should have been booked

then he was booked for his celebration so he should have been off

also he sort of lashed out earlier in the game before either of those events

Yeh but iniesta was literally the man of the tournament, and he scored the winning goal which was a beauty, and spain are the world champions, and holland were thugs

spain weren't really anything special TBH they were just better than the other teams

although i think germany were better and should have beaten them and won the tournament

and anyway the quality of football was mainly quite poor in most of the games

Iniesta's passing and dribbling i can guarantee would be in the high 90%,and he scored the winning goal which was class, and not easy under that pressure.

Germany were better IMO

ozil was absolute quality and should get man of the tournament.

schweinsteiger was really good

he was recognised a lot more in 2006 because he scored 3 or 4 but he was actually very good and consistent which you cant say for many

Its not that spain werent good its just the teams they played were too negative to play against.
You all saw the final, the way Holland set up, great tactically but terrible to watch lets be honest.
