It definitely wasn't the Jimmy White one but possibly the other one. I can't remember, the game itself was rubbish but the unlockables idea was great.

It was Pool Paradise, which was for PS2.
That sounds like a great idea.

I'll throw my idea into the mix: How about unlockables? Where you can get cues and table cloths for certain achievements?

Love it [:D]

'Congratulations. You have now hit a Maximum in each Snooker discipline, and have therefore unlocked the Golden Cue'

Something like that?

Agreed!

I come online to watch films with Japanese people and eels which Mooney sends me...and talk to Dan and Peggi about horses instead of playing games!

This would be new...novelty may ware off but at least we get playing solid for a week or so. So many people have left or dont have the same attitude towards snooker because they have "done it all before"...well, try this!

Also, if you reset, you'd be resetting all you have done...and your unlocked items go back to being locked!

Good for people who want to re-do it all over again and stops multi-users and resetters?

I'm curious now as to how difficult it would be to design your own cues Would definately require you to edit each individual pixel.

I'll have a go at it and post them here. Let's see how complex we could make them

Right, I have done a few examples for cue designs, using a screenshot of the funkysnooker cue.

The designs are quite restricted as the cues are only about 5 pixels wide.

There is, however, another way to customise cues, which I saw on a pool cue website. I'll tell all once I get a few pics together

Brace yourselves!

Yeah nice.

Its obvs hard as the cues are small but it can be done! If I could be bothered to make some pictures on paint...id wow you all with my arts and crafts skills. However im far to lazy

Can be made reeaalll good tho!

I used Adobe Fireworks because it lets me zoom right in and edit individual pixels.

Something else I came across which would work better....
