Carragher should have been off, Rafael should have also been off.

However I have seen players go off for more than what Skrtel, Evra and a few others including Scholes and Gerrard done when the tempers flared up and there was pushing etc.

Different day different referee could have been 9 men each before half time. However what a performance from Luis Suarez, absolute master class from him.

Brilliant result for us and so was the spurs result also.

How Evra never got booked I'll never know. How Reina didnt get booked I will never know too! VDS got booked for the same thing! haha.

Liverpool had to start better, be better in the middle, and better at the end. They needed to burst out the blocks! Exactly what they did. We all know Man United have been poor this season despite them being top of the league. If Chelsea hadnt of had that severly bad period we could be 15 points clear easy. Liverpool last week, got hammered we and truely by West Ham, who were struggling right at the bottom, to then hammer Man United who are at the top.

Even though Chelsea havent been as good, its been more entertaining. Teams believe they can beat us now, and dont stick 11 men behind the ball all game. They try to attack us and it shows that its easily done!

Although I think the class of the top teams in England has dramatically increased, what was lost has shifted over to the lesser clubs increasing their ability. So its swapped around.

Cant wait for these last 10ish games now, I hope everyone slips up and lets Chelsea back in it, but we have a big game against City on Sunday. Fully focused on that, 6 pointer!

See tyhe greatest thing Stoke can win realistically is the F.A Cup Liverpool can win the biggest cup in footy after the world cup the Champs league (if they get in it)

Definite penalty? It was up there with Nani & Ronaldo in terms of cheating, no contact at all! The referee yesterday was one of the worst I've ever seen for both teams, seemed completely inept at doing his job. Yes a handball for the goal, but he tried to even that up with a penalty for a cheat. The free-kick for the 2nd goal was then harsh because had he not had his hand covering his face it'd have just hit his head anyway.

And then a blatant foul on Tomkins in the area is somehow given as a foul against him :S

But aye, well done to Stoke but how that referee is given top games I really struggle to understand.

Not even on a bias note but JT should never of been removed from his position as captain. I strongly believe that was one of the 3 contributing factors to why England were no good at the World Cup.

Everyone makes mistakes, Rio and his drug test. Would fans be asking for captaincy to be stripped? Doubt it very much.

But even though everyone makes mistakes, some make less than others and some give much more in the process. Terry is passionate and will not tolerate poor performance. He is his biggest critic and strives for personal perfection. He will throw life and limb and sacrifice more for the cause. Rio is worried about his dreadlocks and Gerrard doesnt even speak.

Terry is in my opinion how defenders should be. It wouldnt make any difference if he acted like Charlie Sheen, if he is captain then no matter what he does he is your captain!

If idolising Terry and copying his approach to the game is happening with young inspiring foootball talents then in my eyes thats a wonderful thing to have. He makes mistakes in his private life but thats the whole entire point - "Private".

Its so bloody simple! Ronney will cut in yes, but Richards and Cole are very attacking.

This has loads of width - with Wilshere Lampard and Gerrard in midfeild! the two 'Ards' having confidence in Wilshere defensivlely as opposed to Barry or Carrick who lets face it are CRAP!

A midfield of Wilshere, Lampard and Gerrard is very light weight. Gerrard is out injured anyway, won't be back for a few weeks yet.

Swap Gerrard for Parker, push Wilshere forward with fat frank and drop Parker into holding midfield.

Parker has been the best England midfeilder this season, Jarvis and Downing have been the best English wingers. All should start imo, rather than sticking with the tried and failed players.
