Unfortunately with Liverpool as is the case with many football teams, it seems our away fans are the majority of idiots who don't give 2 hoots about the score yet just go for the violence.

these are a minority of supporters yet because they fight "for Liverpool" call themselves die hard supporters, any hooligans who claim they are fighting or causing trouble in another city for their club need to go and have a long hard look at themselves and realise they are just making us all look like idiots.

Why can't they see they are not doing their club any favours and are actually causing them harm and trouble? The club don't want to be associated with these people.

There is absolutely no need for violence at a football match, if you are gonna have a few pints then have a few pints in peace, if you are gonna mix with other fans learn how to have banter. It's about time more bans from stadiums were issued for those involved in violence over a football game.

It is just all getting ridiculous now, people getting murdered, people in hospital, people getting stabbed, all for supporting a team...

You wouldn't see a Rory McIlroy supporter go to a Colin Montgomery supporter and stab him for not liking Rory. Or in Cricket for that matter... so why in football, it's a disgrace, the people who do it are a disgrace and it needs stamping out.

^ Think Derry meant Liverpool fans from Brighton who weren't at the game, but just milling about. ( I think!)

It aint just football though mate, it is the majority of working class team sports.

When Wigan Warriors come to Warrington, you can bet 99/100 there will be a fight outside the King Head.

Remember one time a Wigan fan came over and a Wire fan just bashed him over the head with a glass bottle.

Bam, Spark out. Police called, but around 200 Wire fans, and none of us saw a thing...

Also last year at Wembley after the game where we had won the Challenge Cup we were all celebrating afterwards outside "The Greyhound"

Turned my back for a second next minute 2 fellas (both Warrington fans) who were laughing with each other all day were suddenly scrapping, and one of them ended up down, and completely out of it on the floor. Unconscious for about 10 minutes before the Police got there.

I remember a girl I was talking to at the time trying to resusitate him because she was a trainee nurse, the only problem being she had had been drinking non-stop for 12 hours!

In the end the police came, shortly followed by the Ambulance and they shifted us all on. Still to this day don't know what happened to him.

I think it is more of a social problem rather than a football one though. Football just provides a good platform for violence - IE a group of working class, young men, all together, all with something in common, competing with the enemy

See i'm going to be hypocritical of my last post!

Football violance is just abit of fun to people like me, you get beat up you beat somebody up it's swings and roundabouts.

And before any fight whether your up town or at a football match you know the risks main 1 hoping nobody has a knife second hoping nobody has an other weapon.

My Local pub before each match there is usually some trouble but everybody in the pub knows what will happen and the risk so people only tend to go there and then they can not complain about anything.

But the difference is many moons ago before I was born football fighting was huge but it was proper fighting they didn't need to cary knifes etc.

I was walking through Cardiff last year me and a few lads all in Stoke tops on way back to the hotel ready to go out on the town never had so much trouble nearly every pub we went past somebody would come out to try fight you, but I guess we couldn't expect anything else tho haha

Martin Kelly is way better than Chris Smalling.

Tom Cleverly- numerous better options no point in running through all of them.

Phil Jones- Lescott and otherssssss

Firstly thats just ridiculous...

Secondly about Cleverly.. Go through the Options..

And Thirdly.. Jones is better than Lescott thats why Jones is in the team..

The thing about violence, to be fair and not being harsh, there is countries that are the main culprits. Italy is well known, poland, and last but not least England..

You say that you get problems during rugby games, we get none.. whatsoever not even when Ireland play England, not even when we trounced you lot in Croker, not when Munster play Leinster literally none.. It must just be area related.

Man United tomorrow!

Never being so hyped up for a football match in all of my life (that's a lie but hey ho)but it's going to be immense!

I actually think Stoke will do alright I don't expect beautiful football or anymore than 30% posession but if we can grab the first goal I think 1 point is guaranteed but to get 3 points against united would be the best result you could imagine

Beating Liverpool was the icing, now if we could beat united that's the 5 tier wedding cake!

So far out of the 'Top 4' Chelsea United Liverpool Arsenal

We have got4 points from 2 of them games and if preseason you could say 'Chelsea Man Utd and Liverpool 5 points'

You would snatch anybody's arm off just want to beat Fergie's army so much

We are talking different rugby here though Nicko. I'm talking of Rugby League which is a lot more working class than Rugby Union, which is only played in Public Schools here in England.

All the state run schools in England play Rugby League. Rugby League is mainly a northern sport in England, so we have 4 'derbies' a season. St Helens, Widnes, Wigan, Warrington, Salford. All within 30 minutes of each other, and we all hate each other.

However Rugby League fans are usually boss, come the grand final, everyone wears their teams shirt, and never any trouble, just great banter!

Don't mind fighting me, but I would say I'd rather it be kept to firms, and out of the way of men, women and children who just want to be entertained.

Hope you at least put in a good performace against United, Si! Usually Stoke go to pieces against them.

Just seen the draw for the 4th round and I actually predicted most of it.

I said Chelsea would be last out, as the last 500 draws Chelsea have been in they have been in the last 4 teams!!!

Slight exaggeration but I have never seen them be drawn before the last 4 teams.

I called Aldershot v Man Utd, but had it to be at Old trafford.

I called Arsenal v Bolton/Liverpool and it was Bolton

I called Chelsea v Everton/Bolton and it was everton.

And Liverpool v Stoke

Strange how its always very predictable...

It was obvious Man Utd would get Aldershot, Arsenal Bolton was also pretty obvious, Everton Chelsea, well Chelsea usually get one of the Merseyside teams so not surprised by this "random" draw.

So glad man city are winning against everton. Everton have just been playing defensively and going for a point, similar play to real madrid when they play barca. Can't stand it, as good as a team is I personally think you should always go for a win.

I know some of you may think differently but that's just my personal opinion.

Ok we will see Liverpool again

Rather looking forward to that and I did want Liverpool just so when w reach the final we can say 'Well we knocked out tottenham and Liverpool and United' so it's never gonig be a easy run lol

But nah in all fairness I think alot of Liverpool fans feel 'unlucky' and I want them to see that we can do it again and we are capable of doing it!

If carroll and suarez keep this up nobody can stop them.

I look forward to seeing how Pulis juggles his team when playing against us because you have 3 or 4 games in less than two weeks i think

Suarez is just immense.

Has everything!

Torres, goal, assist? red card.

Hahaha Nando.

I bet that Aldershot ball burned the hand of the fella who was doing the draw!

And Breathe...

Well in redmen!

Carroll was a handful today, looked well up for it, unlucky not to grab a couple.

Suarez boss as ever, didn't like being taken off though!

Jose Enrique had a beast of a game as well, so quick and strong! Dominant left back, both good in attack and defence!

That takes us onto 10 points from 6 games, Everton at Goodison next, followed by The Scum at Anfield.
