That's football alot of worse chants will be said Saturday stoke vs United I promise you that
It's not right but will I be at the front singing with all the boothen end yes of course
And Stoke won 7-6 penalities another good result really, getting close to my prediction

^ Manc fans were chanting Istambul before. In retaliation Leeds fans were signing "Always look on the runway for ice". Both as bad as each other!
Nicko, MOTD stands for Match of the Day. So they should spent the majority on the match of the day! Yet 9/10 times we get to see United beat teams like Bolton at home 3-0 in a game where Bolton park the bus, and United try and score.
Not complaining about Sunday because it was the best match, and to be fair they did show Arsenal V Blackburn first on Saturday, but only cos United hadn't played!
I bet when I watch the Carling Cup Show on ITV tomorrow they show United V Leeds first. Yet Forest V Newcastle looks far more entertaining.

MUTV is less biased than BBC or Sly sports.
And to say Man Utd are the biggest team is a bit silly, they got absolutely destroyed by Barca, who in my eyes are the biggest team in the world at the minute.

The biggest team in the world with 3 European Cups. Hahaha. I think Real Madrid with their 31 league titles and 9 European Cups might just pip that contest.
And good first point to

What I wanna know is, at the minute our disciplinary record is currently 12 yellows 2 reds for the first 5 games of the season, compared to 2 yellows 1 red last reason.
Is this Liverpool's worst disciplinary record at this stage since the Premier League was brought in in 1992?
Will check a few seasons like but cba with all of them.
Checked back to 2001-2002 season and worst we had so far is 11 yellows... will get back to you on the rest, starting to not be able to find games now though which is a pain in the backside. missed a game in 02-03 vs villa but in the other 4 games we only received a total of 3 yellows anyway, and missed a game in 01-02 vs bolton where in the other 4 games we had 6 yellows 1 red.
So far our worst disciplinary seasons (after the first 5 games) were :
2011-2012 12 yellow 2 red
2005-2006 11 yellow
2003-2004 11 yellow
Got to 1998-1999 and then can't find anything really.

I'd guess so. We used to top the fair play leagues quite often I think under Rafa.
Now under Kenny we are dirty feckers!
Just on the United obsessive point (again) I just turned Sky Sports 2 on to find the "Manchester United Premier Cup".
Are Sky actually being serious!?

Who cares who favours United, they are the biggest team in England not 1 team even comes close to them, they are the biggest suported they make more money on Matchday from pie/drink sales they also make nearly double or tripple I can't remember what it said on shirt sales than their closest rival
End of day I don't care what SSN or MOTD say about United as they deserve it, they are bigger/better than the rest and untill a team can keep appearing in finals and winning the league like United it's not going to change
I work in a Casino, and every Casino is over shadowed by a certain 1 because it makes more money than the rest because it's a higher standard than the rest it's a fact of life you follow sucess!
You know, every match Stoke play makes no difference who it is, on MOTD we get proven to be the worse team and it's something you get extremly used to, Think last season where Chelsea scored last minute Stoke hit the bar and missed a 1 on 1 but neither of these were on the highlights they just like to make the bigger teams look good.

Yet have the highest levels of debt in the country as well!
Which reminds me, they will be floating about on the Singapore stock exchange soon.
Good stuff.

Let's face it everybody hates united, but they are the biggest thing in English football second to Barca in Europe but still proberbly got a bigger fan base.
Man United, are going no where anytime soon, the club could keep on accumulating debt and it will make no difference because there will always be 1 donkey who will get them out of it.
The Qatari family will buy united, after already offering 1.5bil for the club and being turned down is mental that shows the clubs worth could buy Liverpool 2/3 times with that?
The richest family in the world, proberbly all of the biggest owners in UK football right now with their wealth accumulated could possibly still be short of what they have themselfs.
Nothing bad will happen to united to big of a club and to many people would buy it given the chance!

Just to add to what Si said, (before the post above), what also really annoys me is, for example if Newcastle had played a team like Arsenal and won, they don't talk about what a great job Newcastle did to win the game, they just talk about how badly Arsenal defended... I actually preferred watching The Football League show when we were in the Championship, because at least then the match reviews are fairly unbiased and evenly spread out amongst each team.

Mich and 2good, I said United were the biggest club, not that they were the best team. Go to any country and say Manchester United and no matter what language is spoken they'll understand because United are the biggest club, they have the biggest fan base in World sport.. not just football alone.
For the last 30 years they have been the power in England and the only Constant force really, when you think about it Barca, before the team they have now, faded off the radar for a very long time, as did Real Madrid, AC Milan, Inter, Liverpool, Chelsea are only around the last 6,7,8 years, Arsenal are fading, when have United not been a force?
2good and alex, you both follow Liverpool you were born anti-united obviously your gonna say everything is united Biased. But I guarantee that when Liverpool where the team to beat back in the 80s they were the team on everything. United are the best team in England and have been for many years its just how it is its not the BBC's fault. I love watching MOTD and hearing about what they say regarding United wheter they are criticising them or praising them, i also love watching the Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and City games on MOTD. It just happens this year that United are playing better than them atm, lets be fair 8-2, 5-0, 3-1, 3-0, 2-1 and 3-2 they deserve to be top of the pops for scoring 24 goals in 6 domestic games dont forget that 5 of those games were against Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea, City and Bolton.

I don't hate the United team i actually quite like the team you have and the values it is set on with a lots of them being english.
What i don't like is the media sucking up to man u and england selecting phil jones, tom cleverly and chris smalling when there are far better alternatives out there to play in those roles.

Are u serious??
them youngsters are some of the best british youngsters, against arsenal jones, cleverly, smalling and welbeck all played and look at the performance they threw out there.
tbh it wouldnt surprise me when vidic and ferdinand come back they will be fighting for a spot in the first 11.

Martin Kelly is way better than Chris Smalling.
Tom Cleverly- numerous better options no point in running through all of them.
Phil Jones- Lescott and otherssssss

Chris Smalling was a bit of a mess at Right Back against Bulgaria.
We have 2 better in that position in Johnson and Kelly already, (both injured at the time though) plus Lescott has more experience there.
Smalling and Jones have the potential to be a great CB partnership for England in the future, can't be any worse than the paceless partnership of Rio and Terry.
For now I like the idea of Cahill and Jones.
Have to be honest, the Tom Cleverly (sp?) selection was a bit left field, but Capello probably wanted to see what the fuss was about, and settle him into the side.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Brighton 1 Liverpool 2.
Played well first half, poor the second, bright points were Bellamy who was very impressive, and Gerrard coming back.
Also Ex-Liverpool trainee Noone, who helped to build the roof on Gerrards house had a class game for Brighton.
I like their fans too, and Gus Poyet was as flamboyant as ever!

This is what I love about the BBC. Objective and Unbiassed.

HAHAHA! I arn't even going to say anything
And Wish Brighton won they play so well second half
On the reverse nearly a 100% first team 11 v Brighton and only won 2-1 should bow your heads in shame even united's half team beat Leeds 3-0
