Not really a first team.

We had Robinson aged 17/18, Kelly aged 20 and Coates aged 20 at the back.

We had Maxi, Kuyt, Bellamy and Spearing who have been bench players in the league.

That leaves us with Reina, Carra, Suarez, and Lucas as first teamers.

Brighton are a decent side though, will take a 2-1 win at their place any day. First time they have ever lost there!

Certainly beat our reserves attempts last year where we got dumped out by Northampton Town! :\

Our squad is a lot stronger now than then, so I can understand the confusion, in you thinking they were first teamers, Si.

Brighton made 5 changes, so half a first team and only 1-2.. Brighton also unfairly (coz of Loserpools biasedness with sky) were forced to play tonight and on Friday.
As for Loserpools team.. Kelly whom apprently is better than Smalling (yeah, on planet Uranus) Coates the Uraguyan player of the Copa and all that crap, Maxi and Kuyt last seasons top scorers? Mmmmmm righto And 35 Million boy cant get a game lol And another Hilarious Carra mistake haha I love that guy!!!! Keep him in the Team Dungleish

Was at Forest vs Toon last night, what a game! Forest have been involved in 2 classics in the League Cup this season both against The Magpies, the 3-3 vs Notts and now a 3-4 vs Toon, fighting spirit shown with a makeshift defence due to injurys and Captain Chambers Wife giving birth (he then left the hospital to be on the subs bench, what a legend ). Just need to carry this form on into the League with Watford Saturday youuuuuuuuuuuuuu reds

Well done to Owen Hargreaves, comes back, and marks his comeback with a great goal, happy for the lad as im sure everyone in football is.

As for BBC and Sky being biased to Man Utd. Hahahahaha sums it up perfectly.

Ahh yes really unfiar on Brighton to give them a big pay day.

The argument would make some sort of warped sense if it had not been United V Leeds televised on SKY the day before.

Looserpool? Dungleish? Even for you "The Brazil of FunkySnooker" thats a bit immature.

Speaking of which I think the word you are looking for above is "bias" or "biased" I am not aware of a word in the English Dictionary known as "Biassedness".

Interesting as always though Wood.

Looking forward to the 4th round draw now

Mich and 2good, I said United were the biggest club, not that they were the best team. Go to any country and say Manchester United and no matter what language is spoken they'll understand because United are the biggest club, they have the biggest fan base in World sport.. not just football alone.

For the last 30 years they have been the power in England and the only Constant force really, when you think about it Barca, before the team they have now, faded off the radar for a very long time, as did Real Madrid, AC Milan, Inter, Liverpool, Chelsea are only around the last 6,7,8 years, Arsenal are fading, when have United not been a force?

2good and alex, you both follow Liverpool you were born anti-united obviously your gonna say everything is united Biased. But I guarantee that when Liverpool where the team to beat back in the 80s they were the team on everything....

Don't understand that United have been the power in the last 30 years, yet Liverpool were the team to beat in the 80's. We have also won 3 European cups in that time.

If you meant 20, then maybe I could forgive you.

Remember son, its Brighton VS Leeds on Friday... both games should of been on the Tuesday but nooo Sky decided to make Brighton play on Wednesday because of their Loserpool biasedness ... kinda like Channel 5 showing every Loserpool game when they WERE in Europe.

who gave the ball away by sliping over? Spearing don't comment if you don't have a clue

that was the only thing he could do after spearing fell over otherwise they would have scored anyway. The fault was Spearing's not Carra's

Virt, when your talking to someone who is still saying Loserpool, a word no longer used in primary schools across England (see biassedness also) I don't think you should be suprised when you don't get a sensible discussion!

Of course the fault was of Jay who slipped over when trying to keep the ball in, then Carra was put in an impossible situation.

Blaming Carra for that would be akin to me blasting a ball in Woods face 2 yards in front of goal, and blaming him for the own goal.

Still gutted for Agger with 2 borken ribs was playing so well as well. Carra will have to play now.

If Spearing sliped and Carra brought him down then Carra is the 1 to blaime...

I can see both sides though Spearing to blaime due to the fact he fell, but you do have to put blaime on the man who took him down last though!

Also Stoke vs United saturday

3 points amazing
1 point estatic
0 points not good enough

Si I have blamed Carra all season for making unforced errors.

This one however he could do nothing about.

Anyway, cba talking about the game anymore, wasn't that interesting tbh.

See I didn't see what happend, but obviously you think penalty and automatically assume that it's the person who took him down fault

I saw I think upto 75 minutes and it was 1-0 I think don't even know who scored next etc just from what I have heard

All in all tho Liverpool are through, also the commentator summed it up beautifully for me, 'Just look at Liverpools team they want this and finally showing the respect of what the Carling Cup is worth'

End of day every trophy in England is important on a bigger scale yes I was FA over it but I would take that

It's like winning Europe instead of Champs league you don't care but would be nice get the big 1

Si123 dont let them fool you...

Kelly fell off the pitch, Brighton player picked it up and rather than staying on his feet Silly Boy Carrager dived in with his flailing legs and took him down instead of staying on his feet and looking big. He lunged. Dont LUNGE in the Penalty Area.

Loserpoool spend 110 Million so they have to do well in Cups..

Was such a good atmosphere inside the AMEX stadium the other day.

It would not have been harsh on Liverpool if Brighton had drew the game or even won. Some very good chances, some very neat passing, some great tackles. Vicente made his debut, he has still got it. Very pacey also and he is only 30. I struggled to believe that this was Brighton playing, with the big stadium, packed out roaring crowds.

Was disapointed with the Lpool fans who live in Brighton. There are quite a few. I had to kick a few of them to get through places. I dont want to appear racist or anti liverpool, but they are mental? Why are they all so different and loud and horrible? haha!

Some 18-24 lads were throwing beer over women? started urinated over cars... and my mates dad drove us there and some Lpool fan sat on his car bonnet, so I got out the car and launched him. What sort of person would do that? They won 2-1 there was no hard feelings, Brighton loved every second of it... I just dont understand.

But in Brighton, if they continue to behave in that manner, they will soon end up in hospital and I honestly hope they never recover.

I have the Chelsea game recorded via asian TV hehe, best 0-0 I've seen! And we won a penalty shoot out! 2nd shoot-out won in the last 10.

Derry, You get this on a night out in Liverpool too, but seen a few guys try it down Stoke in the past just give em' a kicking and it's all over and done with.

Remember some Scouse guys making trouble in town centre well after the match and about 40 of us in a little pub said come on then lads if your hard about 5 came upto us they got thrown around the city, where the rest ran off respect to the 5 disgrace to the other who leaves a mate!

and lol m_wood i'm going have to watch this tackle anybody get me a link somewhere? I need to know how it happend

Well I definitely wouldn't be listening to Wood, who yet again gets it all wrong.

Spearo slipped over, Kelly was nowhere near the incident.

2:22 in

I am going to give Carra 10% of the blame. Bit of a dive as well, certainly a "Spanish fall" from Vicente.

Carra is 33 and suffering (not quite as bad as Gary Neville yet like!) from what all footballers eventually come up against. His age is really catching up with him, his legs are going but he is still a good organiser, still a leader of men and always a Liverpool legend!

Love the man.

I used to disrespect the Carling Cup when I was younger. Not anymore though, this is a big deal for us fans.

We haven't won anything since the FA Cup in 06. Time to put it right.
