I'm rather drunk but here goes (apologies for any spelling mistakes btw I know there are none in title woohoo)
Just because somebody hates Liverpool so much does not mean they look at their fixtures/results over their own team
See United lose 1-6 to City but we would care more about Liverpool losing any scoreline any game as they are just a great hated team
Their fans suck atleast United makes some noise possibly due to the fact they sell out each game...
When they go away might aswell send deaf fans as they are pathetic at singing and chanting away from home whether they win 8-0 or lose 1-0
The fact is support a good small local team and you will get loyal amazing loacal fans
Then you ghet promotied and your Premiership and your qwell know playing amazing football (haha)_ and evey game each Stokie sits back in their seats knowing we support the local team we chant for what is right we chant for what is ours we love what is produced in Stoke and the fact I guarantee no matter where I sit (other than away end) the person on the left right front back of me will be from Stoke suportng a team they Love
I love you Stoke City and 15 years Season Ticket holder is not enough I will be there for the next 50!!!!!!

Yes, I am drunk also. Lets have a frank exchange of views
Si you seem to be the only person in the world who thinks Old Trafford has a better atmosphere than Anfield.
Trust me, I've been to both. Anfield is louder despite being nearly half the size.
The chant "Fergies right your fans are sh!te" is around for a reason. Even fergie knows they are.
I'm getting a bit bored with the Stoke City great fans myth as well.
You couldn't even sell out for you last European game. How many seats does the Brit have? The same Brit that was half full when you were a mid table div 1 outfit.
At the Brit on Wednesday the travelling Kop will be sold out. Most will have seen players you can only dream of. Been to watch football matches you have only heard of. Experienced nights you can not even imagine.
Yet they will stand, sing and watch us take on some small club called Stoke City in a devalued cup competition on a late, cold October evening.
Now that is loyal support! Nobody really wants to watch Stoke, afterall. Nobody really wants to watch poor football. Probably the reason you have took up Man United as your second team.
I guess he's not alone, eh Wood?

There is only one reason we are not the loudest football fans in the world and that is because in Turkey they staged a "Loudest roar" to knock us off and have themselves a guiness world record, we didn't have to stage ours it was natural.

We all know that's a lie when Newcastle are only 7th!!!!!!!!!!
Newcastle vs Arsenal game alone was the loudest I've ever heard any stadium in my life.
I think a Liverpool fan must have came up with those stats.

Stoke is the loudest, It won best atmosphere stadia in the premier league the last two year.
Man ure only be loud because it is the biggest stadium.
Thought it was funny at blackburn they all stayed behind to protest over there manager; and the club just put some music on the tannoy to blank out the "kean out" chants!

I think scousers are the most passionate supporters in the world. Red and Blue.
Istanbul - Wow
Wembley - Wow i was at that game! When we beat United on pens!
We breath football, as you all do but scousers will always have that edge in my opinion. Big statement but i believe I'm correct :)

This is why Loserpool and their fans are hated. The above post says it all.
Walking around like you are the big boys, totally biased, thinking your the best at everything, have the best players, have the best fans, the best stadium, best atmasphere, best manager... nah, your the best deluded fans in the country.

Since when have Liverpool & their fans been hated? :P
I can understand people from Manchester and other near areas not liking them, but I know at least in Newcastle, we have quite a lot of respect for Liverpool. Maybe that's because we're quite similar cities I don't know.
As for big headed fans, I think the main culprits are southern teams like Chelsea (with exception to cue_power ), Tottenham & Arsenal.

Ok lets start of no I am soba...
First of all yes when we were a devision 1 table team we would get 12,000 fans and that would be a good turnout really..
As you become a bigger team fans start to come out of the woodwork as you would with every team ever.
And I don't care about that table at all the reason we call ourselfs the loudest in the Prem as we hit 111 decibels when the closest team to us got 97? I believe and for a 27,000 seater stadium that's amazing.
And then lets go onto football team, I love how we play football tough football get out muscled by our players, I play 5 a side 3 times a week atleast 1 match I will be sent off we play proper football here in Stoke we don't go down crying we man on and go in hard!
And Ste I have got to disagree with you on the passion side, 2 teams instantly spring to mind Stoke (Every fan is probably from Stoke born here raised here) we live for football the greatest feeling for me ever is when the ball hits the back of the net, I would and do drop everything in my Life to go and watch Stoke as to me there is nothing anybody could love more then watching their team take to the field
And secondly Newcastle once again absolutly amazing loyal fans to me these are the fans teams should look upto, they love their football more than anybody I can imagine honestly untill I actualy saw Newcastle play a game of football I though nobody would compete with Stoke on Loyal and Passion but these are all about the football <3

Also to note first year in the Prem we hit 111? or was it 107? Decibels well first year was 1 and second was the other I am quite certain of that
So when you see 97 and you think that's impressive that's why I completly disagree

Does it really matter?
There are so many factors to it for example Fulham could be at the bottom because they have a lot of fans who have asthma.
Who cares what other people think about you? As long as you know that you are a good fan it doesn't matter at all and shouldn't really be bothering you.
I wasn't aware that having people shout at you louder than any other bunch of people makes you play better. It's a myth, if players are being affected by it then they shouldn't be playing.
The key thing about Stoke is that when teams like Arsenal or Liverpool come to play at the Brittania they make the grass longer, the pitch smaller, and they park the bus. It has nothing to do with people yelling at all.
