About the concede button.... you can easily get a situation where someone can be so far behind that there's no chance of winning and there still being good break chances on the table for both players. So if there was a concede button and it meant the game finished at the end of the current break without the "leading" player needing to consent, the leading player would be a bit hard done by as they could miss out on some decent break opportunities.

Hopefully that makes sense lol

sure does, i wouldnt flag unless i had a tournament because i would want chances at high breaks

How does an early finish flag sound? One which both players would need to press obviously..

Why both players..... I press the flag I leave the game you continue untill end of break,

What happens in the next re-rack is pointless just play somebody else and start again if your in a match and they not a decent player they wont press the flag for you just for the fact of being spiteful so nuthing wrong with 1 person pressing is aslong as you can continue break!

Oi oi clever clogs.... what's that about?

I was fully aware that was the solution... which is what I was talking about in the first place! I was just raising a problem of having a concede button that didn't need both players to press! So if you like, I was just agreeing with Spinner's post and explaining why. Which is why I said in my original post...

I agree with this, but also having the same concede functionality as traditional snooker will take 10% the time to add, and I am limited with time for updates at the moment.

jaaaames, But how is it a good oportunity lost..... You are on for a cent I leave you continue get your cent game over you get the points..

The only thing you lot are worried about is your oppoment is that bad you just want to take advantage for all 15 mins but after so long it's just enough for some players

And your the reason why there should not be a double flag feature because obviously as your are stating you would not press it because you are happy to let somebody who has got no chance just keep getting beat just for the chance he might miss something really easy and give you a cent....

You do need remember you always get the points and if your playing ranked isnt that what it's all about?

You and your opponent lose the opportunity to get more breaks in that game.

If 15 minutes is too long then by all means leave and give yourself an abandonment stat! But why should you be able to stop the game when you've had enough and the other person hasn't and you get nothing but a loss? And why should the person leading be punished because someone can't be bothered to continue? And as I've said before, it's both players that would be missing out on further break opportunities in that game.

Not at all, it's not all about winning! I couldn't give a toss about the rank points to be honest. The main thing I see as important is getting big breaks and a decent game / break ratio.

as james has said, breaks are more important for many people than rank. if your target is a cents/game ratio for example, then youre getting screwed by your opponent leaving because you lose chances to get cents

Who cares if somebody wants to leave alot of people will be willing stay untill the end, you stop playing me so what play somebody else and beat them it makes no difference.

And your not exactly getting screwed you will still have untill end of break and you get the points and you can go onto somebody else..... All you want is the opportunity to beat somebody who cant stand upto you on a game level so if your playing somebody who cant pot whats wrong with them wanting to leave you beat them already so it's pointless staying around when I already no the final result
