<snip>What happens in the next re-rack is pointless just play somebody else and start again if your in a match and they not a decent player they wont press the flag for you just for the fact of being spiteful so nuthing wrong with 1 person pressing is aslong as you can continue break!

I agree with this, but also having the same concede functionality as traditional snooker will take 10% the time to add, and I am limited with time for updates at the moment.

Brilliantly put - as you say the opportunity for a big break has not been lost, its just been moved to another game.

for the second time, disregard my suggestion

I have a radical suggestion regarding alternative shot/game times etc - forget them!

As I see it, the lenght of time for both game and shot is so integral to Power Snooker, you can't chop and change the way you can in the other games.

Lets establish now that they are fixed and move on..

I'm not sure if this has been pointed out already, but I have experienced a bug yesterday.

We were on the final black of one frame, my opponent potted it but went in-off. The frame ended and the next one started (correct), I had the ball in hand (correct) but I still had the option to make him retake the shot.
I think the shot retaking option should be cleared when a new frame starts.

I couldn't disagree more (especially in regards to the "brilliantly put" part lol)!

The opportunity for further breaks that game, which is the issue here, would be lost. There's no two ways about it.

If Nick is limited for time, as he says, and a two way concede button would take more time than a normal one... then just forget it as far as I'm concerned. It's either a two way one or non at all. A normal concede button just doesn't fit this game.

i know this isnt in the rules but i dont like it when people tap break you purposely so you smash pack, i know its well within their right but i really feel they should be a 20 point penalty in place as power snooker is suppose to be quick.

EDIT:

while im here ive noticed the scores never go in negatives even after 20 point penalties any reason why this is?

eh. it's easier than the "real" snooker games, but it's not quite as random as pool, where every shot has the potential to fluke.
also, arcade is a coinflip as well... (sorry jaaaames)

The only difference it makes is the ratio for cents to wins, which isn't even a stat! You can get more cents in the next game so you don't hit any more or less than what you would have.

It's not one of the listed stats but of course it's still a stat. And maybe I'm alone here, but it's pretty much the only thing I ever bother to look at... which is why I suppose I'm making a big deal out of it.

I'm always trying to get as many breaks as I can in the fewest amount of games. Like if I see someone with 5 cents in 20 wins and then someone with 25 cents in 20 wins... it's pretty safe to assume who's better at clearing the table.

But hey ho, if no one else cares about it then I suppose that's that.

Absolutely, but, since the player who has that opportunity is by default the winner, isn;t it better to end the game and move on to another, thus racking up a win and still getting the chance to build another break?

I don't see any difference in respect to break building whether is is a new frame in the middle of a game or at the end.

It will be a stat very soon as blutch is adding power snooker to his stats add on as well as fixing the bug he already has.

It's not an official stat though, no leader boards for it.

I care a LOT about my Cents/games ratio.

Thats why i'm so annoyed when I mess up them up. (which is fairly often)

As i said before im with james and mooney here as well. it's the same as with any other game really, whether online or real. Why shouldnt football teams be able to give up when theyre 5-0 down? Because it skews the stats.
And spinner, i know i can get another break in the next game, but that's really not the point that we're making.
Cents/games have been my only real targets for all the snooker games for a while now (except arcade). Whether other people agree or not is another question, but is the point really so hard to understand? If someone concedes early, cents/game goes down. simple
