did you not listen to what either james or i had to say about gettign more cents? if someone leaves after the first frame, i miss the opportunity to get at least 2 more cents in that game.
we cant stop people abandoning, but we can at least prevent them from conceding early. that's why we came up with spinner's idea of both players having to agree to end it early

Did you actually read anything Seb and I just said?
And why are you putting words in my mouth? What are you on about wanting the opportunity to "beat somebody who cant stand up to you on a game level"?? That's got absolutely nothing to do with it!
You've got the wrong end of the stick here man!

All you want is the opportunity to beat somebody who cant stand upto you on a game level so if your playing somebody who cant pot whats wrong with them wanting to leave you beat them already so it's pointless staying around when I already no the final result

If you don't have the concede, then all that will happen is that people who would use it would utilise the 'built-in concede button' i.e. the cross in the corner. In the case of a concede at least the game is over quickly and GG's and other pleasantries etc. can be exchanged, whereas in the other case, you will just have to sit there and wait for either 3 random shots or a minute and a half of 'not responding'.

i dont think we should be making it easier for people to quit...
there are players who genuinely care about keeping their abandoned games low.
also, most of the time when people abandon against me, by the time i finish my break, they are long out of the room. so i dont see that as much of a problem.
finally, if someone quits on me, i wont be playing them again anyway...

But from what you 2 are saying it is pointless having a 2 way concede button because you got no intention of pressing it anyways... So your all for this idea but if your not going to let the other player leave its not worth being there.
You might aswell not bother having this idea if it takes 2 people I wouldnt let somebody leave if I thaught I had a good chance, but atleast with a 1 way concede button they can just go on their own free will and then I can just move onto my next oppoment.

Well yeah I'd press it when there's no chance of another break.
In my opinion it's either a two way concede button or non at all. That way if a player wants to end the game early and the other doesn't then at least they have to earn themselves a lovely abandoned stat! Fairs fair!
And then if both players want to end the game early they can do.
It's ideal.
And to be honest I'm getting bored of explaining it.

People can concede on normal snooker with at least a 50 break still on table. What if the opponent wants to go for that? Ain't that unfair then too with the logic that the only reason this should be added is so you can have some more high breaks? It's not, it's just part of the game.

Yeah I know that and that's something I've always found annoying as well....
And anyway, it's more severe when applied to Power Snooker because in the other games the most you can be robbed of the opportunity of is a half cent. But on Power Snooker there could quite easily be a couple of cents or a good few half cents available. A rule being "just part" of another game doesn't really have any bearing on how suitable it is for this game.

Also, the practice table doesn't score properly (powerzone and power play don't seem to be in effect)

Not necessarily and that's irrelevant to my point anyway.

the game clock runs down faster than the shot clock.

Game clock could have been experiencing time synchronisation. Think Nick mentioned something about it.
