i agree with james and moons too as im all for cents even though i get lots of halfs through rushing in powerplay to try and make the cent.

Players aren't getting deducted 20 points either for time fouls?!?!

Or should it? I thought it was based on when your turn/shot started.

I also see what is meant by wanting to get more breaks in one game, but lets be honest, getting a cent in power snooker isn't that much of an achievement (it can be done with 7 pots) , wheras on any other game it is a major milestone.

Do remember that people are already leaving anyway, so whether they do it politely or impolitely really doesn't make much difference.

I've seen about 4 or 5 time fouls and yet their score remained the same.

See thats the big problem people will just suck it in during a normal game as they usually only take 5 minutes, but during a 15 minute game they dont want to stick around for that long, and instead of making everybody go though that just let them leave and if you dont want to play them again it's completly upto you nobody can make you do anything.

Isnt 1 cent from 1 game enough, and also most players will stick around for second break to see if they can get a good start and if they dont they leave your on for a second cent break so you need to look at it from everybody elses point of view not just your own.

I wouldnt like to be in a game no hope of ever winning with 7 minutes left prefer leave and just start another with same player or move onto somebody else (But currently I wont leave a game because I wouldnt want an abandoned stats next to my name)

about 90% of players ive played in friendly has left after 1 rack or BEFORE the 1st breakoff.

One game per round, including thie final. Time chosen as the Arcade Speed tournament should be quite advanced by then.

This has happened to me a few times...

I've been playing games and the other player has left and while im finishing off my breaks iv taken a shot and the game has just ended out of nowhere.. No foul, No time up, nothing.

It's quite frustrating aswell because I have been on century breaks when its happened..

Without having checked the rules yet to confirm, I believe the other player is awarded the 20 points, as opposed to the late player being deducted.

Edit: I've just been the lucky beneficiary of this rule, and I can confirm that the other player gets the 20 points.

I think you get awarded 20 points if your opponent fouls whilst in the power play, not to sure though.

no mate, the 20 is when your opponent times out. fouling during power play or in power zone just multiplies the usual foul amount

Just played in the tourn, and for me even thou i lost.

Fantastic game

What a change and refreshing difference to the normal snooker games.

Even if there are a few little issues to sort out this for me has now given this game a 'new lease of life'
