I think the general idea is good, it just needs to be toned back a bit. Tom said it earlier and I thought it myself when I saw them, they look too pixelated. If they were smoother they would be perfect.

This is the only thing i don't like about the update. The rest looks good! I even like the new look balls. Just don't like that they slide, not roll!

Could someone explain to me the whole issue with "gliding balls".
Before the change, they weren't rolling either, since they had no marks. Just slightly confused...

Yeh its just that it looks more noticable now, i think its great, makes no difference to my play so its all good in here!

what do the additions to the balls represent;

reflection of snookerclub-lights or chalk on the balls?

If it is the latter then the balls seem to be gliding now (as arpeggi noticed)

they seem fine to me... cant see the 'pixelised' effect too...

before the lights on the balls, u could have the illusion they glide, because you couldnt see a specific mark on them.

Now you may think they are not gliding, because the light stays at the same point on the balls no matter the position of them...but thats not wrong, as you can only see the table from a specific angle.

I dont like the shining colours tha much because they can be distracting a little, but i dont care much about that. What is a lot more important to me is the old cursor and then the ball where to choose the spin. In my opinion the cusors should be like they were and the ball where u choose the spin, too. The other updates are great tho.
