If it's such a big problem just don't have anyone on your friends list. I don't see the point in having a friends list anyway if your not going to talk to them.

I will talk to them most of the time. But if for example I'm playing a clan game, I don't want windows popping up on frame ball...

Does...instead of sending a pm asking how they're getting on..I would know the score as it would pop up on chat screen as it happens..

I think this would be a great feature to be added. I remember back in the day sometimes I just wanted to come on and have a few peaceful games without talking to anybody yet I would get a load of pms and ended up having to play as a guest or whatever. Most of the time I didnt mind people pming me so I wanted people on my friends list but wanted the option for them not to pm me at certain times

This will be the last thing on Nicks list, so I'm sure if it's that much of a problem you'll find a way around it!

A fairly decent solution would also be if pms didnt pop up on screen just popped up on the menu bar at the bottom.

Just send all your friends the link to this thread, and if they continue to pm you after that it's obvious there just doing it to annoy you so put them on ignore, there are loads of simple solutions to get around this!

At all other times I would like to talk to them. Why are you so against this little box? You don't have to use it...

true plus it can't be too hard to implement as its only like ignore pms including friends (same with showing friends results).
