It's not swearing
Here's one then, go back to the theme of the exclusive society...
A man wanted to enter an exclusive club but did not know the password that was required. He waited by the door and listened. A club member knocked on the door and the doorman said "twelve." The member replied "six " and was let in. A second member came to the door and the doorman said "six." The member replied "three" and was let in. The man thought he had heard enough and walked up to the door. The doorman said "ten" and the man replied "five." but he was not let in. What should have he said, and I want a reason for your answer!

I guess so
Another then.
It goes up but at the same time goes down. Up toward the sky and down toward the ground. It's present tense and past tense too; come for a ride just me and you. What is it?

Another then!
A man was at a bar feeling poor he sees a rich man take 50's out his pocket to pay the cashier. The poor man says to the rich man "I know all the songs known to man." The rich man laughed and said,"I bet you all the money in my pocket that you can't sing a song with my daughter's name in it, Sarah Lee Greyson." The poor man went home rich and the rich man went home poor. What song did the man sing?

thoughts on the time telling riddle and the spiked ice
ice spiking first
and now the time telling
ice spiking first
arrest the barman. lying about truth telling, and telling the truth about lying are one and the same. So therefore, the ice collector and the waiter must both be telling the truth.
and now the time telling
can the man see the town clock from his house?
or did he carry the grandfather clock to town with him?

Hmm, not quite sure that lying about truth telling, and telling the truth about lying are in fact one and the same - perhaps I'm misunderstanding you. The way I read what you are saying is that (for example) if A says "grass is green" and B says "A said grass is blue" then that is the same as if A says "grass is blue" and B says "A said grass is blue" - which is clearly not the case.
and now the time telling
No to both, I'm afraid. Near the beginning it says that he remembered that someone had told him about the village clock and if he could see it he would have known it was there. Also, if he could see the clock, he wouldn't have had to go to the village in the first place. As for carrying the clock, it does say it is a large grandfather clock which would be very heavy and that would make it unlikely that he carried it for a few miles. Also, why would he wait until he got home to set the time?

With all of them in the room, the detective proceeds to ask each of them if they were responsible. "I am innocent!" exclaims the barman. The glass collector speaks so quietly, that the detective can't hear what he says so he asks him to repeat it. Again, the reply can't be heard by the detective but the waiter (who is sitting next to the glass collect and can hear what he said) pipes in by saying "He said he was innocent - he is and so am I!"
The detective, having had a reliable tip off that the assassin is in fact the notorious 'The Deceiver' who is well known as a pathological liar and has managed to lie his way into the club that prides itself on the absolute integrity and honesty of its staff, immediately makes an arrest.
Who was arrested and why?\
Yeah, i've realised what i got wrong
if glass collector is the poisoner and a liar, he would say that he was innocent (which he does), and this would make the statements by the others true.
therefore the glass collector is the poisoner!!
If the glass collector is the poisoner and telling the truth, he would say that he is guilty. If this is the case and the waiter is the liar, then the waiter would report that the glass collector claimed his innocence (a lie) and that he, the waiter is also innocent (also a lie).
the barman tells the truth.
