Glaucous is a powdery white coating on plants.

Plants come in all shapes, sizes, colours and varieties ... but one of my favourites is Convallaria majalis

Convallaria majalis is a species of plant I am not familiar with but Mr. Google tells me it is Lilly of the Valley.

Lily of the Valley is a fragrant flower with small, white, bell-like flowers. It is usually found in woodland, and is given as a good luck present in France on May Day.

Day sounds for us Dutch a bit like they

They do sound very similar, I suppose, in a Dutch accent.

Accent above certain letters can change their sound.
