Decades of use does tend to get words recognised as part of the language and we can only hope and pray that this is not the case for words like 'innit' and such like.

Like it or not, languages will always evolve, bringing new words which purists, such as you and I, do not always appreciate.

Appreciate is somewhat of an understatement, but yes it is very true what you say and in some cases such changes can of course be beneficial.
