my ads come along the top of my page, and im guessing yours are down the side, be different ads i suppose.

Too interested in money grabbing from ad revenue / premium subscriptions to do anything about it. Playing this for 6 years and never been such a big problem. Lagging all the time.

Well Funkysnooker cannot really do anything about the ads being shown, as it is Google AdSense who places the ads up. So if you do not want ads, purchase premium membership. Otherwise, ads will keep popping up, and there is nothing we can do about it.

only thing nick can do is ask google not to show unsuitable ads after that its up to google to decide.

Nick can remove the ads if he wants. But he wont do that.
He is able to put restrictions on what ads do and don't show though, but if you're having lag problems, then it shouldn't really matter what the ad is advertising, you will still experience problems.

Best thing you can do is either buy Premium, get a new computer which can handle a few small ads (seriously if your computer can't handle a couple of ads, it's not worth having), or learn to deal with it.

and anyway, we getting these animated adverts but ppl cant use animated aviators?even premium members........and the reason been it causes too much lag!

The decision not to allow animated avatars was because some found them distracting, nothing at all to do with lag.

If there is a particular advert causing problems, yes, it is easily removed as usually they have been badly designed.

I will keep an eye out for the iPhone4 one, it sounds like one of those..

My answer was actually pretty reasonable. The ads don't cause me to lag at all. If it was the ads which were the problem, it would surely effect everybody, not just a small majority.

he was asking for help with his lagging when the add appears . there must be something else than actaully going out and buying a new computer everytime something is wrong with our computers

Well if you actually read any of the posts I've made in this thread, you would see that I have suggested quite a few possible solutions.

Here in case you missed them:

Website advertisements are not viruses.. If you see a website being advertised, and you think that the site may have illegal content, then you can contact Google and they will be able to deal with it.

As long as you don't click the ad that you think is a virus, then you'll be 100% fine. Nick won't remove ad's because he gets paid to keep them there.. If you don't like them, upgrade to premium.

They shouldn't cause your game to lag very much at all.. If you're lagging, the problem is most likely something else on your computer. Check that you have no viruses, remove any unwanted temporary files/browser cache, and free up some space on your HDD.

If you're still lagging, you can also try running your Disk Defragmenter.
