I got to agree with Jack on this 1,

Aslong as you maintain your PC then it should be fine.

But don't buy a PC just get premium

ive been reading pool forum and a player having same prob as me, said his comp is new and well up to speed and all that crap, but still got the prob.

to si~ why should i get premium when i cant get a simple answer?
in a way im paying by playing with these ads anyway, am i not?....but its making the game unplayable.

maybe some of us dont want to get premium or dont want to go out and buy a £500 computer, some of us dont have that much money to spend even though £10 isnt that much.

also what about the underage members on this site where parents refuse to pay the £10.

they got to look at dating ads and those ip ones where its sure to cause a virus.

animated ads is ok but cause touch of lag which i can cope with, i don't mind ads in general but when you see stuff like dating and ip ones it makes you think.

i know i could complete free offers but...

A) more than likely put you in debt (expect facebook ones)

B) I don't know how long it lasts on free version.

Totally agree with that, yes we're not premium but that doesn't mean the people with a 'good' computer can only play this without being premium, and wasn't funky created for 'older' computers? So there's no need really to buy a new computer, just change the ads so they're not as shocking as they are.

I'm pretty certain as I got a I7 Processor i'm nearly 100% sure it would not get laged by a Advertisment

But you never know with these things madnesssss

And ok... Maybe Premium isnt the best option for some and buying a PC can be quite expensive but as Jack said previously and so has Dave I think you do some of the stuff mentioned to look after your PC then you will find it will be abit smoother.

And James...Whats a Family site got to do with anything thats as useful as me keep saying 'Buy Premium' which I think people actually should

----

Also to note... as I just read your previous post... They won't give you a virus if you accidently click them i'm sure google has all of it's angles coverd with new adds so i'm going to say they are perfectly secure and with the dating 1 you are correct about that people under 16 shoulnt have that throw at them

Ohhhh Also if you are worried about getting a Virus AVG Free is good enough to stop simple ones like you would find from a website so you need not worry anymore

Seriously it doesn't make much difference at all whether it is animated or not. That really won't be the issue.

Trust me it doesn't make much difference. Whatever the issue is, it won't be the animation.

If your computer can't handle a GIF animation then again I go to my previous point of chucking it in the bin.

its not all the animated ads.

those what say "shoot 5 eggs/iphones/chickens" and so on that kick lag off.

Right click the ad and change the quality to "Low".. See if that helps.

Oh god no wonder you're lagging if you're using IE. It's the least secure, most buggy and horrible web browser that is available.

Firefox is your best bet, or actually, even better is SRWare Iron, which is basically Chrome except you don't have to worry about Google stamping all over your privacy.

Is that option not available on Opera? Not sure if it would make much difference but it's worth a shot.

Oh and I just tried playing with the interactive ads showing and had absolutely no lag what so ever?
Which makes me stick to my previous point of the ads not being the problem here. If it were the ads, then surely everybody would be effected, not just a small majority.
