Ryder only ever wrestled with Hawkins in WWE.

Flair is actually a good comparison to ADR - he was the face of NWA/WCW for over a decade then came in to WWF and immediately went straight into the main events against Hogan for the title. It would be silly for Del Rio to do anything else, as 99% of wrestling fans see him as a world champion. Similarly to R-Truth - it just never looked right to see such a well known former world champ languishing in the midcard.

well they have been wrestling as a tag team since 04 together mate they were a tag team way before they came to wwe........ i dont think truth will ever scale the heights he did in tna .. there is something missing the big name performers right now are not the same as the 90's we had austin angle triple h shawn michaels taker diesel the rock bret hart << all at some point bu all huge characters right now they are not the same my opinion obviously.

In my opinion this is what needs to happen from now until next eyars wrestlemania ... punk needs to beat cena but MIZ wins the mitb .. cashes in on the same night so punk cant leave with title cos rumour mill says he ISNT signing a new contract and is definately leaving (could probably have something to do with his homophobic comments) Then cena to be out "indefinately" .... the rock needs to come and deal with the miz leading upto a rivalry where the rock beats miz for the title before next years wrestlemania therefore culminating in a championship match still at wrestlemania for cena and the rock .. anybody else agree on this or is it just me ?

I cant see The Rock having a match until wrestlemania really..

It was Jabroni Drive - maybe thats where we differ. I never cared for the way the Rock made everything seem like a kids TV show with stupid things like that. They never seemed to have straight up wrestling matches anymore and just tried to be a copy of ECW, which worked to a degree if you hadn't been an ECW fan in the 90's, but if, like me, you were, there was nothing new. For that matter the Ladder Matches the Harts were having in the 80's way eclipsed anything WWE offered up until the MITB concept was introduced.

IMO over the next few months they need to get the title as far away from Cena and Rock as possible. Unlikely, as it looks good from a media promotion perspective to have the guy on the talk shows carrying the belt, but it would free up the title to be contested in a good actual wrestling match.

There will never be a better Wrestlemania for some of the undercard to "step up" than this one. With Rock/Cena locked, and HHH/Taker as 99% certain, those are by far the biggest matches, so there is plenty of room for a few to steal the show as others have done before them.

As far as I know, thats still the plan. I've not been aware of anything to the contrary.

Hopefully Punk does beat Cena, but can see the winner of MITB cashing in after, anyone but The Miz and ill be happy

Even more horrifying watching it back - that segment is over 6 minutes long! Indeed it's possibly one of the shorter promo's of the time.

Compare that to today and there is a much hight percentage of actual wrestling, which is why I watch an enjoy

Edge would have been the no-brainer for Takers retirement match, but since thats no longer on the cards it explains the buildup they have given to HHH/Taker one more time. I just can;t see any other logical option other than Kane, which would be perfect in so many ways.

Speaking of that, what an impact! Well, I didnt pay much attention to the heavyweight title bits, but seeing RVD and Lynn in the ring together, along with the LONG overdue return of Jack Evans to wrestling TV made it a standout show.

Awesome lineup for Destination X this weekend now. RVD/Lynn wont be what it was all those years ago but will still me a must-watch for me. Similarly AJ/Daniels. They completely ruled the wrestling world in the early 2000's so no reason they won't be the show stealer again... Lets hop Joe destroys Kaz quicly and gets involved here again ASAP.

Show-stealer that is, if it weren't for what must be by miles the most anticipated PPV match this year in the X-Division contract match. Imagine - Jack Evans, Low-Ki, Austn Aries and Ion all in one match! Gonna be hard if not impossible to follow that.

Low-ki was awesome before he just left ... the daniels/styles match the only way that could be better is with elix skipper (primetime) when he was involved he was another awesome one and being as they were a great trio would of been quite fitting really ... rvd and lynn were both x division before it was the x division so only fitting that i think that match has all the attributes to steal the show .... kane is definately the clever choice for takers last match i mean the only other thing that could possibly happen is make it a triple threat match with michales ..... and either mchaels or hhh win the match therefore although it is a loss .. it isnt a loss in a sense :S ? they have to OUTDO triple h and just michaels despite how big they are the greatest one would be austin but i really cant see it ALTHOUGH i did see an interview with austin stating he wants one more match .. all the bad blood with lesner and the talk of lesner/heyman in talks with wwe .. could be a possibility he goes out destroying him who knows
