I'm just disappointed Bernie's game has only been in Red Bull and Sebastian Vettel's favour, especially with the new Tilke-esque tracks the four-time world keeps dominating and getting away in (are Red Bull and Vettel really Bernie's favourites?). Bernie is so greedy the entire sport seems to become artificial just by looking at toy cars trying to go fast. The 2014 regulations really need to give all teams a chance to reach their real potential they deserve, especially McLaren. Teams can't just follow Red Bull's physics and hope for the best, otherwise the entire sport will just separate the men from the boys for good. Bernie's plans to make races interesting have gone a step too far. He is just as stupid to own the sport as Justin Bieber trying to become the greatest pop star!

I'm sure a lot of fans are grumbling over Bernie's rapaciousness and getting so annoyed and turned off by the sport's complex standards. Fans shouldn't be envying Vettel, because, in the end Vettel is one of the greatest of all time.

By the way... dentist drills, anyone?

Problem is, Unless Vettel does what hes doing at another team, He may not get credited that much.

Im completely disgusted with the booing he gets also. Hes getting booed for achieving his dream ? some people need a brain check.

Did you see Federar get booed when he won so many Grand Slams, Stephen Hendry in the 90s with world titles year after year.

At this moment, I cant see anyone winning the title except Vettel next season.

I think fans are just so envious of what appears to them as a much less idolised and characteristic man fixed into the favour of Bernie Ecclestone they just want to see him get off and never be allowed to dominate again. But all life deserves respect. I mean, how can anyone get booed in at least 6 Grands Prix?

The biggest cheer of the 2013 British GP, which I went to, was Vettel retiring from the race. And as soon as he's gone, there's raciiiiing!! It's the only time teams and drivers get interested, unfortunately.

Why do people say he is a cheat if he is not breaking any rules? That's the idea of sport - going with the rules and pushing them to the limits. Adrian Newey has been a genius for over 20 years now. Let them dominate, just like Ferrari did.

Really we need to see racing. At the very least DRS needs to be abandoned. But ERS will have 160BHP for 33.3 seconds compared to 80BHP for 6 seconds by KERS, which will be interesting.

But then we have another sting in its tail. According to Charlie Whiting, F1 cars will be 2 to 3 seconds slower in 2014. I'm a bit concerned at this point...

Formula 1 is going backwards!

To be fair the battle for second place behind Vettel is usually quite interesting and earlier in the season it was actually difficult to say who would win. Red Bull are the best at improving the car mid-season every season since 2009 except for 2010.

Alonso has in my opinion been the strongest driver for the last 4 years bringing a sub-standard car close to the championship in both 2010 and 2012. He was quite unlucky not to win these too. He has been the only one able to get near Vettel in 3 out of the last 4 years.

Yes, the competition doesn't become obvious enough until the second half of the season. Jenson Button was runner up in 2011 so at least he's in line with Alonso in some way. Fernando Alonso really did everything he needed to do. He just hasn't got the car, unfortunately. The floor of Red Bull proved to be too much for everyone this season, but the success they have is far from just a driver and a car.

With 3 races remaining, Mercedes have 313 points, with Ferrari having 309. Mercedes being runner up would be nice.

Ross Brawn is leaving! Gutted!

People say it's a disgrace to see Vettel get booed, I'm going agree but I absolutely hate him as a drive haha.

I think there's more to his car than his actually driving, I still think he's a brilliant driver don't get me wrong. Just don't like him as a person =)

Next year will totally be different, with the 1.6 V10 engine a lot of things will need to be adapted, I think Ferrari will do well especially when Kimi get's in the car!

Yep, same, I hope the 2014 regulations get the sport back under control again, but I'm a little disappointed nothing about DRS is done. DRS is awful. Makes overtaking too easy.

And I believe they're 1.6L V6s, not V10s. I wish they were V10s, though. They were the best.

Do people not think that if there was this conspiracy of Red Bull screwing Mark up they would have replaced him years ago with someone they favoured more...

No worth bothering about Mark. He's out of it after this season.

Will be interesting with Ricciardo at Red Bull and Raikkonen back at Ferrari next season. I think Ferrari and Mclaren will be strong, Hulkenberg at Lotus could be one to watch

I'm putting my money on Ferrari next season the only thing is Massa has been pushed around by Ferrari basically at times telling him to lose to help Alonso out. With Raikkonen in the big seat he won't roll over and do anything of that sort, he's got to much talent and definitely to much attitude what a driver though, can not wait till the start of next season now

What do you think of the non-resign of Perez contract? Seems an odd thing to do. In my book he was performing quite well for McLaren given their car isn't up to standards at the moment.... only to replace him with a new boy who's only driven a few tests with them. May Perez was demanding to much £££'s and they've got the new boy at minimum wage rate

Perez's sacking was way too harsh. He's a good driver. Totally unprecedented.

To be honest Perez is quite comprehensively outscored by JB in the Championship. It's a shame for Checo i'd like to see him stay in F1 considering we still have morons like Maldonado knocking about (Thats a rant for another day though) but looking forward to seeing Magnussen to be honest

To be honest Checo was a bit of a panic signing last season after Lewis went to Mercedes anyway. But yeah if there's anyone to be sacked at Mclaren this year it should have been Whitmarsh to be fair.
