hi, i like power snooker.. however most people dont like 15 minutes.. i am not a fan but i do play it.. i dont know if this has been mentioned

but i was wandering if we could have it so we can choose our own power time limit, i think it would attract more people to play it and would be much more fun

dont know how the rank would turn out like, but maybe the less time you play the less rank you get for the win ?

yeh agreed, would sort out the clan game things aswell

I am sure changing the time of a power snooker game to benefit the clan league(20-30 people) will never happen captainking1

There are 280 members on and one game of power snooker going on, would knocking of 5 mins make a difference? maybe in the short term. but people will just lose interest of it..

not really as we would need a specific rule on what time limit it is.

personally 15 minutes is too long but normal power game is 30 minutes so i would say leave it as it is

I wasn't just saying that it should be implimented just for the clan league, it would be a good idea anyway, 15 mins each game is just sometimes too long, 10 mins or 8 mins would be far more suitable IMHO

if it was one time it wouldn't be so bad but a choice we would need a time limit rule and would have to force people to play at one time limit.

i don't mind if it gets changed or not.

1 thing what does me with power is conceding when 200 points ahead but thats for another thread.

I am going to be the first to say its a rubbish idea .. if you play at a nice brisk pace it is easy to get 4 frames in which is perfect for 2 breaks each ... so i think 15 minutes is just fine Thanks.

Not really changed my view from when this sort of thing was brought up 3 months ago.

The game balance would be wrong I think ,although I find you get 3 possibly 3 and a bit frames normally so 10 mins could work giving both players a break.

However ,then you would just get people taking 19 secs for every shot and wasting time to run the time down.

I played someone the other day who was leading by 50 odd but started taking the full 20 secs for [I][B]ev[/I]ery[/B] shot with 6 mins still left on the clock. It worked ,as I left the game in disgust. I think it is a fair enough tactic with a minute or so left.

With anything less than the 15 mins this would happen all the time I think especially if someone gets a lead or century so it just becomes an exercise in time wasting not potting .

Whats wrong with being able to choose a time limit to play? If you don't want 15 minutes, play 10. Or 5. If you want 15 minutes or even longer, there could be the option for that as well. Just because the options are there, it doesn't mean you have to choose them..
