yep in clan league terms we are the best, FSE are clearly the best overall though.

Are we soley basing it on who has won the most titles though? The FSE clan of now has in my opinion, the most talented and skilled players of any period of clan ever on this game. It's scary.

A clan doesn't cease to be the same clan if old players retire and new ones come in. As long as it exists continuously, it's still D&C.

as i said D&C are the best clan in the league due to league stats BUT FSE are the MVP of Snooker so clearly they are the best overall so no im not just basing it on titles

I can see both sides, the name D&C has those victories, most of the players don't but the clan is still D&C. As you say, Man Utd in 1990 is still Man Utd now.

My point was that it is hard to compare the success of clans when really it is the success of individual players that wins the league.

A clan is just a name that holds people together. The difference with a football team is that with that comes facilities, trainers, managers, support staff etc etc. There is more to the team than just the players.

Yes you win and lose as a team, but if D&C or FSE had a team of 15 players that had never hit a half cent in any game type and rarely won matches, their name would not make them any better. D&C, FSE and the rest don't have to do anything, all they are are umbrella names that players play under.

When United, Chelsea etc win the Premiership, that is a victory for the club because it is the whole setup that has brought about the victory, but all a clan is is a group of players and the victory belongs to them.

lol peg, can you see my point though? you may as well say only damee won the league this season, and only seb last season etc or whoever is at the top of golden cue.

I've hired 3 trainers just to keep peg from cramping all the time. His stamina is shocking.

James think about it logically. Without bringing clan names in, if clan A won the league, then didn't change any players but renamed themselves as clan B, you would not say that it was a victory for clan A because the name is different. However there is no difference at all between the two clans, they are identical.

And your point about the golden cue makes no sense haha, you need more than one player to win the league and any player who has played in that season has a share in the victory.

its the same here is it not? i am sure we all contribute to the clan winning the title unless you lose 6-0 every game and no one is that bad on here.
