Turn on detailed stats, it will show you why you get such few points for beating an 820. It's mostly because points are simply taken off for high ranks. It has to be that way, otherwise people get to 1000.
If you eliminate the deductions, the whole system needs to be redesigned. That could be done, but then 990 is not a great achievement anymore.

i see your point. but i still dont think itll be more difficult. cos i dont think there's so much of a skill difference as the rank system suggests. whilst not encouraging people to not play unprofitable situations. but yeah i suppose it'll cause complications.

I would have to log in to tell you. It's on the bottom right under one of the options tabs. Something like 'show detailed score', not sure.
It will tell you that something like 80% of the score was deducted because you have a high rank.

well sometimes with the rank system it gets annoying as i have never been to pro but i see people losing 20.3 when they lose in tourney but oh well we all have bad losses but we all can get it back in our own time so im not really bothered even when i get to pro if i ever do

its very frustrating when you lose a lot, believe me when i was into it.. i used to go skits when i lost, every game, every tournament, and i made a complete fool of myself.. some people forgot about it, some didnt, but what can i do apart from apologise and not do it again... it will get easier, when your a high rank, you do get annoyed, i was 950 and i just lost if when i dropped, but its part of the game.
