Wasn't a tough game, I think Swansea had one shot on target, just happened to be an absoloutly beautful volley to the top corner.

Couldnt see them scoring really if that didn't go in.

After they scored, in the 30 something minute, they didnt even have another shot.

Chelsea pressed but it was as if we were 4-0 up. Was no energy, no determination. Was a rubbish game, spoiled by a foreign commentator.

But we need to start starting Essien. He is an animal. We need Drogba back and even Kalou. The bench of Chelsea is extremly weak. Formation is wrong, selection is wrong, tactics are wrong, attitude is wrong.

Basically -

If you look at Man United/Liverpool/Arsenal... Look at their players and compare them to the Chelsea players... there is nothing in it. Except for Rooney and RVP the only stand out players and maybe Gerrard.... Chelsea are just as equal as these teams.

These teams come down from 2-0 down to win... these teams are winning games and scoring goals. Doesnt matter if they concead but they score....

So I look and think why is this? Why are we so bad, and I dont mean losing or drawing, even winning... but the performance is so bad, its the worse team in the premiership imo...

And its dow to Sir Alex Ferguson... Arsene Wenger.. even Kenny Daglish.

Villa-boas doesnt have a clue.

To be fair didn't expect Chelsea to win or get anything from the game before kick off. Swansea are extremely good at home and they played us off the park at Anfield even.

They are the Welsh Barcelona

Glad to see Andy Carroll starting to become a bit of a beast. Was very good last night with his touch, hold up play, awareness and finishing.

Come on big man!

Was at the match last night, and although the atmosphere wasn't all there, what a performance from the lads. Carroll was brilliant winning virtually everything in the air and getting on the scoresheet too, Adam was just a mess though probably our worst player on the pitch however managed 2 assists. Jay Spearing, what a game that lad had, if we get rid of him like there were rumours last transfer window then we are a complete joke, he was the best player on the pitch by a mile. Think we were helped a bit though by Hennessey having an absolute stinker, ut oh well glad we are scoring more now and giving teams what they deserve.

Spurs at home next up on Monday, hope we can come out of that with something, if we do then we will be in with a chance of catching Chelsea who have a tough game vs United. Then an away game to Everton, which is also a very tough game. We also got to hope Arsenal and Newcastle slip up somewhere too and keep ahead of them, gonna be a nice race for 4th!

Charlie Adam is a 'match of the day' player in that highlights make him look far better than he is.

All he did was give the ball away yesterday, and yet as you say he got 2 assists, and pulled off some nice passes in amongst the drivel.

He has no control over a midfield, unlike a player like Spearing or Lucas who never give the ball away, put tackles in and do all the hard graft.

Spearing was indeed brilliant as was Carroll, Enrique and Bellamy.

Look at this... a signing

Liverpool have signed Sporting Lisbon teenager Joao Carlos Teixeira.

The 19-year-old Portuguese youth international will join the club's academy having impressed against them in the NextGen series earlier this season.

Asked whether the teenager would be a contender for a first-team squad place manager Kenny Dalglish said last week: "No, he's only a kid."

Think he cost £1M.

Leeds have sacked Grayson, and in other news, I'm feeling pretty vindicated in my hatred of the FA after seeing how a proper court of law is pandering to John Terry.

Disgusting, it really is.

Agree with that. I don't understand how a case that has a max fine of 2500 pounds can delay trial until July (why has it taken this long already??). Maybe that's just how your justice system works, but trial/punishment should follow in a timely manner.

Its a kop out anyway. If he is found guilty The FA will say he's had his punishment, (a small fine) and if he is found innocent, the FA will say he's innocent.

Either way, he's not getting banned.

Apparently it has been put back to that date (9th July I believe) because before hand it will interrupt other players (witnesses) schedules with Euro championships coming up.

Or that's what sky sports were saying anyway.

Our worst performance for a full 90 minutes I've ever seen, yet we still beat Blackburn 2-0!!

God knows how that happened, but who cares, we're now up to 5th!!

Ba & Cisse to return against Villa aswell!

The future looks bright!

Mental that, seen a few videos that have now been removed/blocked. You could actually see people getting stabbed, some really dirty skanky____ out there.

Urm about Terry, it was requested by all parties that it trial ends in July.

End of the day, Mike? You serious :L

"Suarez Suarez Suarez".... "Terry should be shot".

Ridonkulos.

The reason why its so ignored is because its pathetic. There is no case. The FA wont do nothing and either will the authorities. There is no evidence that can stand up in a court of law, there is no witnesses, there is no motive and there is no previous issue with racial attacks concerning John Terry. Its a complete clean sweep and he is unchargable anyone.

Even if he did say something, its only because Suarez admitted it that he was punished.

Innocent until proven guilty... and Mike especially, you slaag of the papers for malicious attacks, slaunder and printing garbage, yet you are automatically assuming Terry is guilty from thin air...

You sound just like the "S*n"...

I've never once said Terry is guilty. Try and find it, you'll look all year.

You seem to have misunderstood, I don't see any reason for John Terry to not stand trial now.

If it was me, I couldn't say yeah about that racism charge, I'm working till after the Summer, can we put it back till then please?

No, no you can't. Don't see why it should be any different for a thick cockney kicking a pigs bladder about than it is for anybody else.

The point I am highlighting is pretty simple to be honest.

Because the trial has gone to a real criminal court Terry is being treated as innocent till proven guilty. Quite right. However the FA (who are literally a law unto themselves) saw Suarez as guilty to proven innocent.

As I said, the whole thing is a kop out. Who phoned the police to complain of witnessing this alleged racist abuse of Terry? It was an FA employee I believe.

The cynic in me can't help but think that perhaps the FA wanted nothing to do with this whole thing. So they've let the criminal courts try to find evidence to charge him in front of a jury. Not the kangaroo court comprised of 3 middle aged men, hand picked by the FA that Suarez was up in front of.

As I said, if he's found guilty he will get a £2,500 fine and if found not guilty will walk free.

Either way he will not be punished by the FA. He will not be missing football games, and the countries media will continue to call him 'brave' as they have done all winter cos he's Ingerlands (C)

As I said Ollie Holt who has been sticking the boot into Suarez ever since the verdict, happens to be John Terry's ghost writer.

Just as an example of his hypocrissy, he thinks that what Suarez has admitted to saying ('Porque, Negro' once) is racist, yet even if Terry has said what he is being accused of.... that isn't racist.

Of course Suarez is going to get more bad press from the Fleet Street than 'JT'. Why? Well funnily enough, the ugliest side of racism.

Covert racism.

People are still discussing Terry & Suarez?? C'mon this is so boring now. Both were in the wrong, why can't everyone just get over it..

For the past 3/4 months it's been Suarez this, Terry that, blah blah blah. 2 players who quite frankly, I, and the majority of neutral spectators in England, couldn't give 2 (insert swear word) about... Terry is a total moron.. Even if he wasn't guilty, he deserves some sort of punishment just for being a complete idiot. Suarez is your typical overrated cocky player who thinks the world revolves around him..

Don't see anything cockey or over rated about Suarez tbh, though Terry does come across as a bit slow.

Blackburn can't score goals, thats exactly how it happened. If you don't take your chances then you get punished, they had over 20 attempts on goal and couldn't find the net once, thats how bad it is for them at the minute.

If one of the top teams had that amount of chances then no doubt they would of scored at least 5 goals. It's just a good job you were playing a team that are struggling like hell.

Their finishing is pretty damn awful. It's not even as if our defense were playing brilliantly. Coloccini was as good as he always is, Simpson cleared off the line, but apart from that we were very vulnerable at the back. We played a very high line which you can't usually do against Blackburn.

We were very lucky, but as you said, if you don't take your chances then you do get punished.

Feeling very confident about the Villa game on Sunday though. I think that'll be another 3 points in the bag.
