Arsenal completely outplayed today, Chelsea the only English team left in it now. People write off Italian sides but Milan put on a master class today.

Deserved to be beat 0-1, in all fairness we havn't got the team United/Chelsea/City/Tottenham/Liverpool have got and we got shown that tonight in Europe

I went on a Stoke forum before the game and the consensus of opinion was that "Tone" was losing the plot!

A lot of support for Luis tonight from his old clubs Ajax and Nacional which was nice to see. Lugano and the Uruguayan President also backing him.

One good thing that might come out of all this is Uruguayans now seem to love Liverpool. Not a bad country to buy players from!

In all fairness, every team in the whole Spanish league set out to mark 2 players

Messi when they play Barca
Ronaldo when they play Madrid

It's just everybody is in love with messi we don'tsee anything of Ronaldo but his stats are just as good

Personally Messi is the best player in the world he can do things people dream off, but Ronaldo is special aswel.

Ronaldo is all about style and looking good individually, Messi is all about winning and getting the job done for the team.

Yet ironically, Messi looks & plays in a more stylish way than Ronaldo does.. He doesn't even need to try.

Ronaldo is a good player, and there's no doubting he's the 2nd best in the world, but the gap between him and Messi is huge.
Ronaldos best qualities are his speed & shot power. Other than that he's not all that brilliant. Messi has it all.

To be fair to him, he's scored at will in any team he's played for. And he's had success with all teams (will win league this season it looks like). I think it's just his attitude and that look of superiority about him that makes people dislike him.

I think Ronaldo has been ok at international level but Messi has been disappointing for Argentina.

Ronaldo is a better defensive player as well than Messi. Ronaldo is also a better striker than Messi, hence why he outscores Messi.

If you restricted Messi to a Ruud Van Nistelrooy postion I think he would struggle. He has to play off Xavi, Iniesta, Pedro, Villa... Whereas Ronnie could play the RVN role, with half decent players like the Wigan midfield and he'd score you goals.

Ronaldo is like Darren Bent but a great deal better lol.

Messi is more like Maradonna.

If you combined both their attributes, then the final product would be known as Derry Mulloy.

Had a cheeky bet on Tuesday....

PSV, Twente, Man City, Valencia, Man Utd, Ac Milan, Athletico Madrid, Kharkiv.... they all won of course... but for some stupid reason, I put Juventus in there and they drew 0-0.

Sicker thing was, I was going to bet Juventus after 5 minutes of the game... I then decided not to. I had dinner, came back and done my bet (not realising Juventus were still on the slip) So I done my bet, it was 0-0 and the 84th minute.

Obviously if I had of realised I had Juventus on the slip I would of removed it, but it was a 10 team acca, so I didnt think the odds were strange or anything.

Anyway, I was waiting for Man City, they went 2-1, I logged into my account expecting to see about £1200 in there... to see £80 in there.

Was only a couple of quid lost technically... but I look at it as if I lost £1200?

I have tried to dispute it... hopefully they pity my stupidity and reward me some free bets of something
