Did they say why the save on the third penalty was disallowed? I wasn't watching it in a language I could understand
It was the linesman who flagged, but the keeper barely moved from the line.

It was for moving off the line. Very harsh. Hardly Dudekesque when he was practically in the 6 yard box against AC Milan in 05

Let go back to a few posts ago I love the fact Liverpool fans think there is any pride in their club it's a disagrace!

He messed up Kenny apologised for what he did wrong not what Suarez did wrong! Ian Ayre apologised for Suarez been a disgrace to the game after agreeing to shake the players hand I do not see why your all moaning!

Dunno what Evra has to apologise for either tbh. If it means that much to him to win then good for him, Suarez didn't seem that bothered when he was dancing around him til the ref and Reina came charging in.

Suarez needed to apologise to Liverpool (internally as far as I'm concerned) for leading us on a bit, but he has nothing to apologise to Evra for and vice versa.

They are both grown men, they and they alone are responsible for their own actions and as long as it breaks no rules then on we go.

Lol well my mates went to the game, and Evra was running behind the goal post, he started in a RWB position... then ran all the way behind the goal and all the way up to LWB position (where the Liverpool fans were) and was dancing, fist pumping and could even hear him screaming over a load of chanted Mancs.

But thats all good banter in my eyes, just most people would deem that inappropriate!

Evra ran the whole length of the pitch Clapping to all the stands along the way and in all fairness the Liverpool fans are situated by the tunnel I think anyways so in my book he's alright.

Oh yeah im not saying Evra has done anything wrong... but he done something that the FA would deem unacceptable as it appeared to be a deliberate attempt to disrupt the paying away fans.

I'm not quite sure why the European competitions have completely made a mess of the scheduled fixtures... Only 12 CL matches have been fixtured? Europa and CL happen on Tuesday/Weds/Thursday...

For TV companies, they will make more money from the Europa League games now, I understand that.. but surely UEFA cant just allow them to change it frilly nilly.

2 games tonight in the CL, 2 games tomorrow in the CL... then the following week the same... the following week the same... so it takes 4 weeks for all CL teams to play the first leg? Wtf?

It seems completely unfair to me.

Evra shouldn't have done what he did (although I never saw him go to the away fans), and Ferguson has already said so. However, I highly doubt Evra would've done it in the first place, had the handshake happened.
I think the issue is pretty much dealt with, now that Liverpool have apologized. Tevez and the England manager will take more media attention.

There are only 8 fixtures in the first leg, so it will take two weeks. This way, there are fixtures every week but all teams still get a week where they don't play (while the others do).

I still think though, should all be on the same day. They use to say (UEFA) that Russian teams may be stopped being entred as they have an "unfair advantage" playing at 5-30 as opposed to the 7-45 standard time..

Now from moaning at 2:15hrs they have increased that to a whopping 1 week, as the teams who play on the first week will have already qualified a week before the 2nd lot.

I dont really see it as a massive disadvantage but, still is.

I have to start making my excuses now, as I hold no hope of progressing to the quarters!

Basically Suarez is scum.. Biting a player in Holland... Hes Racist... He gets caught and refuses to shake Evras hand because he got caught.. Rio was bang on the nail not to shake his hand and the rest of the team should have done the same and to top it all off he blasts the ball into the United fans at half time.

Great footballer though no doubt but the talent is wasted on a sad person.. Evra was right to rub it in Suarez' face after that because if he had of done that to me id have broken his legs not one word a lie... No need for racism in the game specially as Liverpool also have different races in their squad.

One of the funniest thing about all of this is those on facebook and just in general conversation on one hand slag Suarez off, call him a disgrace, a racist and all the rest of it, yet on the other are the same people I know to be racist themselves.

The hypocrisy of it knows no bounds!

As I've said many time those without sin can cast the first stone. Whiskey Nose for example has been fined for racist comments in the past himself, so he can put his back down on the floor.
