Their penalty should of been given, that's fine, but the amount of decisions that went against us is just a joke. We were poor in the 1st half, and probably deserved to be 1-0 down, but it's not as if Sunderland were very good either?

Sausage Onion got sent off for a clear elbow in the chest of Tiote, so they can't complain about being 1 man down.

We completely hammered them in the 2nd half, and thoroughly deserved at least a draw.

There were about 3/4 penalty shouts that we didn't get lol.
Header off the bar... We had about 20+ corners and about 10x more attempts than they did lmao.

I would have taken the draw before the game, but it still feels like a loss after that plank Ameobi who is probably one of the more shocking centre forwards I've seen, scored against us in injury time. Don't know how he always manages to score against us but whatever.

Clear elbow in the chest, yeah it was a red. Absolutely no need for Tiote's reaction, and how it took about 85 minutes for him to get a yellow card is completely beyond me.

After half time, and even then we had the better chance to score.

Mignolet's save was a great one, but he did come off his line I admit that.

And finally, if I put down what I thought of Pardew on here, I'd lose my posting rights so I won't. However, he is one of the most unprofessional, and down right antagonising managers, and I personally believe he just puts on reactions to please the scum fans. The man's a complete (put any insult here).

Also I'd just like to say that Cattermole had a brilliant game today, but completely ruined it at the end, don't know what he was thinking. Him and Sessegnon getting sent off could completely ruin our chances of beating Everton in the Quarter Final.

Also, I'd just like to add... Ba and Cisse were poor today. Newcastle couldn't beat Sunderland with 10 men and at home, took a last minute goal to get a point. I know due to the past results I shouldn't be really saying that, but it has pleased me

And another edit, I don't really think you can base the fact that you had more attempts on goal on us that you should have won. In all fairness, Newcastle only had a couple of goal scoring chances (penalty, when Ba hit the bar, and the goal at the end, can't really think of any more off the top of my head), most of your shots were hopefuls from outside the box.

Really? You were fantastic defensively, no doubt about that, but you only had like 3 or 4 chances throughout the whole game lol. I don't actually remember a single moment where you really threatened Krul. You were the better team in the first half, because you were playing football, while we were trying to start a riot (which is why we were so p!ss poor). Second half that changed though. You could always tell Sunderland would get someone sent off, it was just a matter of when and who. Sausage Onion did great for you in the first half, but threw that away completely by elbowing Tiote.
But even before he got sent off, we started the 2nd half absolutely fantastic, dominating in every area of the pitch.
Ben Arfa ripped apart your RB.
Ba had a few chances, but he wasn't on the ball like he usually is. Cisse was just invisible from start to finish. God knows what was wrong with him he was dreadful.
If Ba scored that pen though, we would have most likely went on to win it.

A draw was a fair result I guess. You were better in the 1st half, we were better in the 2nd. Referee made bad decisions for both teams, which was bound to happen cos it's a derby.

I do remember Bendtner getting a shot away at the bottom corner and Krul had to tip it away, and the bit where we had the ball cleared off the line. Can't think off the top of my head if we had any more, but the chances we had were good ones.

Yeah, when Ben Arfa came on he did rip Richardson to shreds unfortunately, could have probably had an assist or 2 if it wasn't for last chance tackles.

But yeah I agree a draw was probably a fair result, still gutted Sessegnon got sent off though as that was our best chance to win at SDA in a long time.

First time ive been to the derby and im definatley going again next season! Atmosphere was just insane and from where I was we should of had at least 2 penalties. Newcastle battered them 2nd half and its about time HBA had a decent game

Its been a terrible run. We only just managed to beat Bolton and Wolves.

Athletic really outplayed United tonight. Martinez, Susaeta, Muniain and Llorente were brilliant.

Don't hold out much hope for them turning it around either at the San Mames.

Brilliant that a club like that can be successful with Basque players alone.

Also Marcelo Bielsa is a fantastic manager. Gave Ferguson a lesson in management today as far as I'm concerned.
