By the way I think this would be a great moment to share this song:

Stop just looking at what you wanna look at and read the whole posts.
Pretty sure I've read and addressed everything you've discussed in your posts?? Which part of your posts have I missed out and I'll reply..
The bits where I said Newcastle were the better team, and the fact I was not making excuses just pointing out the facts.

Maybe you weren't trying to make excuses but it certainly looked like you and 2good were from the way you were posting.
Anyway let's not all fall out. I love you all with all my heart even if you do support a poo football club

ha, I wasn't going to care at all, but now I want to see the handball, offside, and red card incidents

I will be honest, definite red, but the reaction from Perch was terrible, even Jack would agree, Reina was going off regardless.
And Jack, I love you too but you are sometimes deluded... like thinking it weren't offside. <3
Haha now I have chilled out had a beer calmed down, the ref is still laughable. This time in a funny way not a frustrating way, what a terrible game he had... oh well let's hope we smash Everton or this season is more of a shambles than it already is...

I'm cooking up a nice little video for the headbutt. Posting it as soon as Youtube let me.

Kenny Dalglish said he deserved the red so he deserved the red. Simples.

He also said this team will be challenging for the title next season...

Simpson handballed it and should of been sent off
Cisse was miles offside
and Perch dived but hey thats the luck you get!
Simpson incident was 50/50.. It was in the middle of a cluster of players, and depending on what angle you stand at, could look as though it either hits the shoulder or the top of the arm.. If the ref isn't 100% sure, then he can't give it..
Cisse wasn't actively involved as he was standing in an offside position, and he didn't touch it. When the ball was played through to him, and he went on to score, he was onside. (As far as I'm aware anyway).
Doesn't matter if he touched Perch or not. The intent was clearly there, and that's enough to warrant a sending off. Perch made a big deal of it but who cares, they'd lost the game by then anyway so what difference does it make.
The ref didn't have a bad game.. He seemed to constantly give Liverpool freekicks whenever Tiote made a challenge mind, even when they were fair, which was a bit annoying. Other than that he didn't really make any mistakes..
Got the Carroll dive spot on.

If you look at it again you can see Simpson push his shoulder towards the ball, it was a pen and a sending off
I didn't say Perch was nutted. I said regardless of whether he was nutted or not, Reina deserved to be sent off for the intent.
As for the Cisse goal, I'll have to watch it again tonight before commenting on it, but it looked as though he was onside when the ball was played to him.
As for Simpson, like I said before, if the ref saw it, he would have given a penalty. Yes it was a handball, but it was a close one to call.. It certainly wasn't as blatant as you're making out.
The ref was fine, you're just clutching at straws. You'll see tonight on MOTD once you've calmed down a little bit and can see things with a clear head.

You're right yeh. But as you can see if you look at it on MOTD, neither of the refs could see, so they couldn't give a pen.
Shoulda been but wasn't.

Dare I bring it up...
Goal line technology?
Extra referees assistant for pen areas like in European comps?

YES, bring it up!!
Goal line technology: I'm fine with that as long as it's something instant that doesn't require review. Meaning if the ball crosses the line, the referee hears it or the stadium screen lights up in green or something. You can't stop play and review if the ball went in (like in tennis for example).
Extra referees: I'm a big fan of this, as long as the new refs can make penalty decisions (rather than just ball in/out). I feel like in the European competitions, they have just been bystanders most of the time. Why don't they get a flag like the linesmen do?? But in general, I really like the principle.
