I think it has less to do with religion (although in part certainly) but with their assumption that if sports betting is allowed, the players/coaches/officials will become corrupted and lead to fixed results.

Now, I no how to get the best out of people... When Drogba is playing well, scoring goals... in a game when you're 1-0 up and you really need the 3 points to go 4 points behind the leaders... You would fully expect championship contenders to see it through.

Now I would of brang on Torres. a Guy who isnt even being piked to be sub, everyone is banging on about Drogba being in form and Lampard not starting... so there is NO pressure on Torres for a change.

Plus we were slow, luthargic* and complacent and then we draw 1-1 with the worst team in the prem.

Ramieres is our replacement Essien... and we have struggled without Essien big style, and when we are also missing Rameries, there is no drive through the middle. Ramieres must cover more grass than any premiership player. He doesnt stop running from box to box and we needed that against Wigan.

We had the best week last week -

United, Newcastle, Arsenal etc all dropping points... Chelsea then beating City and going 7 points behind top when we were 12+ behind at one point.

To be fair, I think Chelsea have been slightly fortunate this season. They really haven't been playing well at all in comparison to how they usually play. Mata, Sturridge and Droga are playing really well, but the rest of the team don't seem to be pulling their weight.

I think you'll finish top 4, but even that won't be an easy accomplishment.
The best game Chelsea have played was when they had 9 men on the pitch against QPR, other than that, just about all of their performances have been either just good, or average, which isn't enough for a team that should be fighting for the title.
