I was playing an Original Game of Snooker with my friend Mercedes500.. we played 2 games in which I won... then in the 3rd frame, I was 19-0 when the connection of Funky decided to disconnect me, resulting in me losing this game

Now, I dont normally question this stuff... but being as I was Rank 1 on Original, and Losing over 7 points because of this.. Is it possible to rescind this and have my points reinstated.

Good news.. the Admin got back to me and they cannot change or rescind the result. Therefore I lose my Rank 1 Status by being screwed over. Thanks for that.. only takes 16 wins to get my points back. Ridiculous.

I've lost several games recently to server faults (the one where it says sorry an error occurred) costing me points. It's a game, it happens. If you don't like losing points, play friendly.

...thats not really the point. It shouldnt happen in any instance.

Like I said, its annoying sure, but I dont make a deal of it.. but when you lose Rank 1 status because of it thats no way to lose. Besides...im not gonna beat Destinys Rank by playing Freindlies... and when you get 0.3 for a win, you can see why im annoyed about it losing 7.3 due to the server crap

Try playing some people with higher rank and you will get the 7 back faster if you win . As for the server, if you can find one that has never crashed then please let us know!

its true, to lose points in this way is annoying,so i do understand.its happened to me ,and everyone else many times,but its also happened to my opponenets and ive won points and not played,so its swings and roundabouts,as for beating destinys record,,i find it facinating how good some players think they are,destiny 281x arcade 107s ,53x 147s original and 990 top ranking ,mr wood im sure your a superb player,but i cringed with embarressment as i read your profile,ive been playing this site since it first opened and there has been some truly awesome players over the years,very few players in that time will ever achieve what detiny achieved

Agree with giggler and it must be dissapointing. Perhaps you could wait a while until your friend gets better and increases his ranking? After also reading your profile and some of your statements, 7 points really shouldn't take you that long to get back!

Servers crash at one time or another, but I have never seen one that crashes as much as this one. It's ridiculous

Well if it takes you 16 games to get 7 points then, then you need to play people above 700.

Anyway, anyone could say this every time their connection goes, and could claim their points back. Just because you was #1 ranked doesn't entitle you to special treatment and to get these points back.

First of all.. I do play people above 700. I was exaggorating a point. Hell I saw the other week Brentologist beat someone in the 770s or whatnot and got 0.1 for the win. My point was, I lost my points due to the connection, and its not like you can claim them back with 2 wins now is it. Not when you are in the 900s.

Second of all... Cringed reading my profile eh? Cringed with what? Maybe you took my profile a bit too seriously....

Thirdly...Destiny. Im sure is a good player, his account is from 2008 afterall... but you Mr Giggler seem to point out the Maximums.. well let me tell you, Maxiums do not interest me. If this wasnt proof enough, you see the break of 100 i scored in Arcade? Yeah? I potted the white intentionally instead of the final black. I dont need Maximums... but you say not many will achieve what he achieved? Well, ive doubled his Tournament wins...... probably because he doesnt care about Tournaments, much like I dont care for Maximum breaks.

I dont claim to be the best in a serious way. It is banter. Some people do not understand this banter. Although you cannot argue that I am the greatest Power Snooker Champ of all time...

Completely missed this post.

All that really doesn't mean a lot to be honest. People know i've hit double the amount of maximums destiny has on original and about 4 times as many on regular, but you can not see that.

But anyway, some people concentrate more on rank, some tournaments and some breaks. I personally am for the breaks, but that's not to say people have no desire for it and go for the big breaks when they clearly can.

At the end of the day, an 80 break wins a frame

Ive said it before and Ill say it again...

Id rather have 5 breaks of 20, than 1 break of 100. Mainly because it makes for a much more entertaining fun game

by the way if it was the server the game you was in would be cancelled due to both players being logged out so it must be your connection.

not true james. If you get the message like I had where it says "sorry an error occured and has been logged", that is a site problem not a connection problem.

ive never had that message as black screens happen before that, so thats why i always thought if site goes down you both don't lose anything (same if you both leave willingly before game ends).

I've had that twice in the last few days, once against horse in carom and can't remember the other. It gets logged somewhere. I had it on pool too.
