Agree with most of what you have said but, I do only play friendlies(with the exception of killer because you wouldn't get a game otherwise) but they still show up on my profile !
So, yes I could possibly be playing at a higher level than Adept (not normally in my case ) but all my games show up or have I misunderstood ?

Yes, but this hasn't always been that way. Until about 8-14 months ago (I have no idea when it was actually changed), friendly games wouldn't show up (even though events were still added to the profile from friendly games).

To be fair that's long enough to not only be showing 300 games and say they "only play friendlies" - that sounds far more like a re-setter or a serial account creator
On the OP's point I have never experienced that though. I think it must be a fairly new tactic or maybe only employed in ranked games.

i used to get put off when people did it to me but after a while u just learn to ignore them, i barely even look at the chat box when im playing lol

had it plenty, the most annoying thing is ppl using firewalls to block there connection, ive even had a micro final timed out deliberately using the disconnection timer to count down the 5 mins in 90 sec spells.... it don't take many.
The mods I have spoke to refuse to see it as cheating, let alone get something done to prevent it.... joke really.

This has happened to me a few times, but if the player doesn't leave the table straight away, its not always because of cheating as some great players on here have experienced it when I have had to leave (usually after getting hammered ), for genuine reasons as you can't always know if something important is going to pop up.
But its often just the case of the server needs to catch up I think, with it being a tournament game and the default/abandonment will therefore not be given against the player leaving (as they can destroy win percentages), and then once the official win has been given then the players account is logged out.

trust me this was intentional. I'm aware of the server issues.
Thoughts like above are exactly why this clown gets away with it!
He timed out 4 times in a single frame each time the connection magically restored a moment before the time-out count down... no coincidence
Also worth noting that he was snookered, he basically left me in a situation where I either had to play out of the snooker or let him time the game out... it was awful, not to mention the abuse he was giving throughout and especially during the time out period...
He didn't even get a slap on the wrist, If it wasn't for the rest of allstarz id have quit the game over it out of protest!

I agree with you there slatty but my point is that you can't judge all players by what a few idiots do, like I said , it has happened to me before but I would like to think that people don't think that I'm cheating (I hate cheats), if someone time the clock out if they are losing so that you both get disqualified then they should be banded but if they are winning and there is a chance that their opponent can clear then there is nothing wrong (in my opinion) with playing the snookering game.
I understand that it is just a game, but we do all play to win and if that is the only way you can be sure that you can win the frame then I'm all for it.

its hard to prove really, admins wouldn't know if a user disconnected on purpose or if its legitimate, thats why admins don't or can't act on it, the only way they can act is if they have some sort of proof

that won't work much either as it could still be a legitimate internet problem (e.g. someone on dialup). its one whats very hard to prove unless they admit it which 99% wouldn't

also slatty did you report him for the abuse? if you did then usually admin punish those, sometimes its just a boot and others like racism is more serious

In this case he did it for 85 seconds 3 times in one game.... that would be one hell of a coincidence! let alone how many times it happened to his other opponents....
It just needs some common sense applied.

The things people have to do to help them win games on an online snooker game, very sad!!!
I wouldn't say it's cheating tho but extremely bad sportsmanship. I'm not easily put off so i find it quite amusing when they try it with me and then they get annoyed even more, and start with the abuse...It's great!
