Would just like to bring this thread back up.

Why can't we lag for break on the 1st frame of power. Against a capable player it is a massive advantage for them and they automatically go favourite for the match in my opinion.
I don't think it should matter it they do or don't in real life. This site is just a game. Not a 100% real life simulation of snooker. It's the smallest of changes and would make playing power just a little bit fairer!

On average you play about 3 frames in Power so how about..

Player1 brakes first
Player2 brakes second

And for the 3rd frame, we should do a random choice, just like when you have got a tied score and the black get's respotted.

But to be honest i've never had a problem with how the current rules work. Half the time they will go first the other half you will evens it self out

Yea it does even it self sometimes you can be the unlucky person who loses the break in the final or an important clan game where who ever gets it first then gets it twice as you only play 3 games. I wouldn't have a problem if i lost the lag all of the time because then i'd know they did something do deserve it and they didn't just get it on pot luck.
From your suggestion of having random 3rd break its still the same scenario. Obviously the scores will be different but it still hands initiative to player who got the extra break and gives them great chance to make a game wining break(against any capable player).

you could if you was playing really well as average table is cleared in around 4 minutes so you could get 4 in there.

i would only agree with lag if they have it in real game (either that or you get to choose if to break first or second)

Getting a decent 4th frame in doesn't happen much. You will be left with a minute or so with little chance to change the game. Like i said above who cares if they don't have it in real life. They don't have arcade snooker(to my knowledge lol) in real life but we have it here. Players can't consistently pot long shots with the object ball near the pocket like they can on here etc etc. This is a game and as much as we'd like it to be just like real life snooker it isn't. If lag was added to power i don't think the wrath of the snooker gods would be that great lol. It's just a small change which i think allot of people would like.

99% of Power Snooker is 3 frames, 5 minutes per frame.
If it goes to a 4th Frame, the 4th lasts 1 minute.
Myself I dont like the Lag idea simply because I get lag so im screwed in that respect plus I dont even know how to do it or what im meant to be doing

Id much prefer Rock/Paper/Scissors to decide.

My opinion is obvious. The fact that such a major advantage is given on luck alone is rubbish.

There is an alternative solution. Change the clan league to 4 frames of power:-

It annoys me that such a necessary change(i deem) probably wont even be considered. It doesn't affect how the game will be played, doesn't change the rules but still no go.......

true but if you remember carom people can use 'cheat lags' for example since you can hit anywhere on table long as you don't land in opponents half or hit bottom cush twice (think thats right) but there is a special shot which destiny created for lag where you can get it perfect 99% (100% in dests case) which involves going second but first can be modified too.

thats main reason why i disagree with the lag, if its a straight up and down lag then im all for it as it takes skill but not way it is at the moment.
