i know that it can be a bit cruel to name and shame sometimes, but it would get rid of the idiots on this site who cant play fairly etc. openning pms, putting off and proffessional fouls, i know with the new update pms open minimised and that has helped, and you can ignore, but still, if just 1 'cheater' was named and shamed, it would decrease the number of others who would try to cheat and would make this site twice as fun and user friendly

He did say unless anybody can prove there is, results are viewable to everyone so that would be obvious to see.

People class a few different things as cheating, but unless you can prove it by results then it's not cheating.

Hmmm as you wouldn't have said a name, it cant constitute naming and shaming, however as screenshots can be edited allowing screenshots to be used in this manner can only cause problems as it could lead to personal attacks on people that members dislike. I would therefore say no...

Why feel the need to name and shame.. if someone does something wrong, like pm you on a shot.. you stick them on ignore, you dont come on the forum and blady blady bla about it, because there are ways of getting rid of it for yourself, you dont have to listen to them lol, stick them on ignore thats why its there.

I think naming and shaming could cause more problems than it solves.

What would stop someone just bad mouthing another player just because they don't like them. I can't see any way of providing the required proof that wouldn't create more work for someone on the admin side who doesn't need or want it .

We all enjoy the game and the majority play fair, however like me I'm sure we all play the odd shot that a disaster and could look like it was intentional when it wasn't. I wouldn't expect to be named and shamed.

You may think it's sad but we all sit in front of a pc and I keep a pad, making notes of ppl I'd sooner not play again or jot down what happened so next time I can decide if I want play them or not.

We are not forced to play every challenge it's our choice.

This is an interesting thread. I was looking to start my own about an idea I have for messers of the game.

How's about those who are instigating attacks during the game, the scores are ignored. I don't see why my score should be affected by such lowlives. Twice tonight I've been called names, with no word beforehand from me. And the game had hardly started.

Same goes for those who use those 'tactics' - pm's when on a shot.

I reckon all these games should be ignored then there's no points in it for anyone to use this site in such an offensive way.

I don't care if I lose the points too, even if I win.

Aside from making a list as fragmented has mentioned, I reckon this should be an option to report and request that such a game be ignored in rankings. Not an instant fix - once it's been checked and if the opponent instigated then wipe any points to do with that match.

In my opinion anyway :)
