i agree it probs will be unpopular but interesting aswell. the best players on here will love it. be more of a challenge for them.

like i said though we know it won't happen as i rarely see nick but it doesn't stop us suggesting it.

ive got a well known phrase, "if you don't like it, don't play", id certainly give it a shot to improve my safety and positional play, its gone WAY past tapping now, slattys not suggesting to put it on arcade what 90% of site plays but on the original table.

those who play arcade regular would just stay there and those who like safeties and original would play this type

It would also be a game with some real genuine achievements. Even those that used to be considered big aren't really any more. I've seen people nearly make maxes in orig with no skill at all, so I think a seriously hard achievement would be a good thing.

Yeah I meant like if cue ball was on the baulk cushion then you couldn't place the cursor past the blue spot, that would make long pots very difficult .

Really!?! Only play Arcade (And ye, amateurs can make half cents without spin\positional play etc.) but I find that difficult to acknowledge on Orig?

I of course can't name who it was, but at no point during the entire break did I get any impression that they knew what ball they were potting in 3 balls time. A display of potting more than snooker skill. But then again, that is all it takes on the current games which is why I asked for the harder one lol.

Considering only 21 people have ever hit a maximum on orig, I would consider it a genuine achievement. I've also never seen any player without skill hit a max. It's an achievement that very very few people accomplish.

yeah i agree it is an achievement, i still wouldn't mind a type where i can practice positional shots current set up doesn't do this as normally you can pot long balls without any trouble, in real game they tend to try and maneuver cue ball into a position where its close to object ball so its easy to pot
