was on my mates comp on snooker, the amount of lag when the sky ads and numerous others came on was incredible!

god know how some of the members must feel, it really is unplayable!!!

Come on mods, admin, sort it out and give people a decent game without miscuing due to lag and large file adverts!

if anything, its enough to put people if sky, let alone buy it!

lag only affect comps with insufficient ram to cope, i never have trouble on my laptop

mmmmm my mates pc was bought 2 weeks ago stocked full of RAM. I use a mac so it doesnt really affect me in any way.

but honestly, the lag yesterday on a pc was astonishing, i coulndt play the game and left...

my laptop has 1gb of ram so thats why i dont have probs, and also alot of the ads dont appear on mine.

then the ads not appearing in your top right corner is why u dont have lag!

We shouldnt have to live with it though. If you can code a game as well as this why spoil it with huge adverts. Secondly, you have to remember this game is for kids and adults alike, and kids cannot afford laptops with 1gb of ram, which probably cost thousands. It hasn't anything to do with ram though, as it is only inside this game which lags. My computer as a whole is fine all the time, no lag or lack of performance at all, its only inside the java applet that lags. Surely it cannot be too hard to stop them lagging or get some more which dont fry peoples game.

Yea i suppose, but as said, sky have paid good money to advertise on here. So it's a case of dealing with it for the time being i'm afraid.

Granted, it's a fre service, its funky snooker and its a very good one and some good friends can be had online here, but it does ruin gameplay and above all, isnt the game snooker what this site is all about?
